After software Upgrade my phone starts to have a flickering screen and turns off , today starts to make a beep!!!!
I bought it 12 months ago only.

My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 running complete stock 5.1.1 G920F.This happened to me quite a few times over the past few days. It happens sometimes when I am doing something on the phone or the phone is in the pocket.What happens is that the phone turns off or something of that nature because the only way I can turn it on after this is by plugging it in to charge.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy S5's screen turns on every 15 seconds or so while the phone is charging. Its not that big a deal, but I can't imagine it causes the phone to charge faster when it is turning on the screen all the time.
What's odd is that it stops doing it when my phone gets to 90%-charged. From 90% to 100%, it doesn't do it, but any percentage lower than 90%, it turns on about every 15-20 seconds and stays on for like 2 seconds, turns itself off, then turns on again 15 seconds later.I have browsed through the Settings pages, but can't find anything that looks like a way to stop this.
I have an SLS Galaxy 5. I am current on system updates. I am using the Email app for my exchange server email. Whenever I hit refresh, and often when I simply open the app, I get a message at the bottom of the screen that says 'Email sync turned off.' I have go to through the process of 'Manage Accounts, select account, Sync Settings, and check the 'Sync Email' box every time. Then it syncs, I read my email, exit the app, and I start the process over again the next time I open the app.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI transferred/restored all my info and apps to it used it all day till night perfectly fine. It was fast, wifi working fine, etc. Then tonight I installed Go Launcher on it and played with it for like 10 mins and then noticed wifi stopped working. I turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on it failed, I kept trying until wifi turned on. Mean while the phone was super super slow so I turned off power saving mode but it didnt work. Then I noticed wifi started turning off on it own. My next step was remove Go launcher but it didnt fix anything, the issues stayed. Next I reset it to factory setttings but when it came on, wifi was failing (and phone slow) even during the initial set up wizard.
The phone was completely fine during the whole day.And my biggest worry is that this is an exchanged phone. I originally got a supposedly new s5 from ebay, (from a guy with thousands of reviews/transactions and like 98% positive score) but eventually I realized the battery was fake and that the IR blasted didnt work. He agreed to exchanged it and I received it yesterday and now today the phone has already failed but in the weirdest way possible by being completely fine for the majority of the day.
So I recently unbricked my AT&T S5 with OC4 Stock Modem and Kernel. Everything was working perfectly fine until I clicked software update. The update downloaded and started to install, but after that it goes into recovery mode and ended up failed to update. The phone then reboots to the at&t logo screen, then to a black screen with error messages such as "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped", "Unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped" and "Unfortunately, setting has stopped".... I pressed the power button to see if I can go to emergency mode, but it will give me another one of those error message "Unfortunately, Emergency recovery manger has stopped" or something like that. What can I do to fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past three weeks my S5 has been flickering and the screen will freeze up. When I try to text the screen shakes up and down and I can't type the letters. When I'm on wifi it "seems" to work better, but when I'm not on wifi it's definitely much worse. Any screen that I go into it does this and it's getting worse. Sometimes it will freeze and I just have to leave it for a few minutes before I can do anything on it.

View 12 Replies View RelatedRecently the back, and start buttons on my 1520 have not been turning on, or flickering. The search button has not shown any signs of the issue. The buttons still work, and have no functionality issues.
It started randomly, and I notice if I press on certain parts of the phone, the lights may go on or off. They may also go on or off of their own accord.
I had dropped my phone a few days prior, but there was no visible damage, and the issue was delayed.
I'm assuming this is a hardware issue and I would need to replace it in order to fix it, but are there other possibilities?
After ICS update (4.0.4) on Xperia Pro my recorded video turns out laggy and skips. Things I've tried: Factory Reset on the phone Repair using Update service. I can disable video stabilization which reduces the lags and skips a bit, but it is still noticeable and does qualify as a workaround because the issue still persists and I would like stabilization. My LED only lights up when I connect the micro USB cable, is this normal? (I just got my phone and instantly upgraded to ICS so I don't know what it's supposed to do.)
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy S5 did the lollipop upgrade just over a week ago and there have been nothing but issues since. I did a full factory reset and the phone worked fine for 3 days than I powered it down as I was at a bridge game and when I turned it back on it was worse than ever. Did another factory reset and now it won't load any apps at all. It will sometimes read my SD card and at other times it won't. Short of replacing the phone, what is going on with this update and how did it take a phone I loved and turn it into a useless hunk of electronic junk.

The vibrate icon is still there, but my phone no longer vibrates on notifications and calls. Is there some behaviour that I don't know about that brings this about? ... is there any way to always have vibrate on?

It is not app specific and the color goes back to normal if I turn off/on the screen or switch apps (for example, let's say I'm in Chrome when the screen turns pinkish, if I use the multi-task button and go into messenger, the screen will correct itself. Same would happen if I go to a different Web page... As long as the displayed image on the screen changes) This is my second S5 with the problem. Phone is on verizon, stock lollipop.

This has to be a problem that's addressed. I don't know if it's a android problem or just the device specific but what I found out is that this occurs on the LG G4 as well. Seems happen when your phone is paired with a Bluetooth LE device while also paired to a Bluetooth Audio device.
My screen turns off every time I use the power button to turn it on and then place my finger to unlock it, I then need to turn it on again and unlock it. This happened almost every time I open it, usually I need to unlock it again after it turns off but sometimes when I turn on the screen the phone is already unlocked.

The problem I'm facing is that when ever the phone screen turns off (whether it's me turning it off or the screen timing out) the wireless charging pauses, stops and then starts again giving this little beep sound. I thought nothing of it and left it 'charging' overnight and in the morning it had charged from 8% to 3%...
Is there something I'm not doing right? Should it wirelessly charge while the screen is off?
I have a Samsung s6 running 5.1.1 however when I'm at the gym with my headphones in the volume turns itself down to mute.
It's not a button being accidently pressed as when I turn it back up whilst still in my hand it turns back down..
I have the sound alive turned off and the volume adjustment setting is off. I've tried a restore. It's getting on my nerves now to be honest as when I'm running on the treadmill I either have to stop or just run with no music on.
So two weeks ago I decided I want to upgrade my SII. I connected with Kies and I started with upgrade. Everything went fine until I restarted my phone. Ever since then my screen completely randomly turns itself on, like I pressed any button. It's really annoying and I don't know how to fix this. I even removed most of my applications I downloaded from Market Play.

I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry torch 9800, the other day i were on the phone to my friend and my phone just cut off! screen went black and the flashing light flash's red 4 times quick together then pauses for about 2 seconds then continues to flash. it eventually turned back on after 20minutes of taking my battery out then back in contantly. Ever since my phone turns off atleast twice a day and stays off for hours. my phone is now still flshing red and hasn't turned back on since this morning. i thought it may have to do with me needing to update my phone through my PC so when my phone finally turned back on yesturday i updated it, but my phone still persists to turn off still flashing red.
