Aug 28, 2015Galaxy S5 phone - after OS upgrade and Whatsapp upgrade my photo's and videos I receive on Whats-app do not go to Gallery anymore. It use to go straight to my gallery.

Nov 5, 2013I just want to confirm if others have the same problem on sending photos on whatsapp by using Gallery. I am not able to send any photos as attachment in whatsapp when using Gallery app. However, if I long hold the gallery icon, it enable me to choose Photos app and send the file from that app. Feels so annoying have to long hold the icon everytime I want to send photos.

May 21, 2015I got some serious issues on the S6 with the backup of my messages from Whatsapp.Normally i use Helium to backup all my apps+data. Nowadays since Whatsapp has been part of Facebook this aint possible anymore.So i went the regular way, the backup messages and then copy the whatsapp/database to the new phone after installing whatsapp (Whatsapp is ofcourse already installed on the S6).It asks me to restore, i press yay!!!! All of the sudden it says it was unable to restore the messages.I tried many ways, emailing, through pc etc etc with the file to my new phone.I dont know if the file has been damaged through transfer, but normally you need to use your Sd card. Wich the S6 does not have!
Ok so i went to my girlfriend her phone and copied her backup to the S6 and tried aswell. Also doesnt work.I really want my messages back restored but it seems impossible.

Nov 28, 2015Firstly, on the clock on the lock screen, when i press the homebutton its like the time isn't up to date. It will change in a split second to the latest time. Why does this happen?
Also when using whatsapp, when the device is locked and i go back into a conversation when whatsapp opens its like the keyboard vanishes and i just see a black box where the keyboard should be. After a couple of seconds, the keyboard appears.
Ive made no changes and dont see any reason why i need to make any tweaks but this is rather annoying. I didnt experience this on using the HTC and quickly frankly im tempted to go back.

Nov 22, 2015From what it seems like, it seems app is not running in background properly. Power saving is off, app optimization for WhatsApp is on default setting (can't change it because it is a system app), and data is running properly. All other apps do push notifications just fine. Running 5.1.1 COI9 build.

Jun 17, 2015I am using Galaxy S6 Edge. Issue started happening two days ago. Even when there are no new messages the WhatsApp icon shows "1" suggesting there is one unread message.
Also even though there are multiple unread messages it still shows "1" in the icon.
Tried clearing cache and force restarting the app and still doesn't work.

All was well but recently I cannot receive calls in any of my apps- Viber/Whatsapp/Kakao/Skype etc. People have been calling me using these apps but it never comes through, it never rings. When I start the app manually I see I have missed calls. Normal calls are fine though.

Feb 23, 2016With the latest mm but also with the beta when I send a whatsapp message it doesn't send immediately but takes up to 30 -40 seconds. This happens only on the first one because if I send other messages after that they are sent immediately.
I'm sure it's not a connection issue since telegram works like a charm.
Galaxy S6 :: Won't Boot Anymore
Sep 21, 2015I'm having serious problems with my S6. The phone crashes, shuts down and reboots over and over again. Right now thee is no way I can boot the phone without freezing. Even in safe mode and recovery mode the phone freezes.
I had these problems before and returned the phone. They 'flashed' the firmware and checked all the harware (no problems). The phone worked properly for two weeks but then all of a sudden the problems were back.
I want to make backups before I return the phone again but that's simply not possible. If that's not possible I prefer erasing everything somehow, without making any backups. I still have my backups from a couple of weeks ago.

May 17, 2015I have strange error today on my S6, i was taking a picture and go to quick view , when its open i only have one picture in side, no folder with Camera (295 photos in side) no Facebook (56 photo) only that picture what i take that moment. Then i explore folders (DCIM/camera) and all photos and video are there but my gallery only see this last one.
I tray to rename folder name and when i shoot new picture he make new folder (Camera) and i can see picture that i take, now i copy from old folder to this new, and still i don't see other picture,

Sep 17, 2015I opened my gallery a few days ago to find that it was cluttered up with a lot of advertisements in the form of videos and pictures. There where about 10 - 20 of these and how they got there.
I don't download many apps at all, when I do I try be very careful to make sure they aren't harmful for my phone.
Before these ads had appeared though, I had installed two games. Knowing about how some apps will abuse permissions to do unwanted things and I assumed the culprit to be the most recent game I had downloaded, because I thought that I saw one of the same ads saved that had popped up in the game and the timing of this happening after a new app installed indicated it was this game.
I was annoyed that my phone had been exploited and deleted these pictures/videos, uninstalled the app and left a bad review explaining it saves ads on your phone.
Well I thought that was the end of it. Today I open my gallery and what do I see? Yep. More damn ads saved! Not so many this time though, there's about 4. So I realized that it wasn't the game at all, it is uninstalled and gone but the ads are still being saved. You could say I promptly made some "minor adjustments" to my review. :P
I decided to do a scan with AVG thinking that will find whats doing this but it didn't find any threats. So now I am seriously wondering how these ads are being downloaded onto my phone without my consent, using my data, storage space and cluttering my gallery up.
