I have several pictures that I want to use for my wallpaper, that are not in my gallery. When I go to set wallpaper, the only choice for a place to look is my gallery. How do I get a picture out of drive, or my email , to my gallery?
View 2 RepliesI've just switched from iPhone and I must say the android world is a little less intuitive. I cannot find a way to select the image and copy to the clipboard to paste in the email application. Am I missing an option to enable it somehow.
Its the AT&T galaxy s6 edge.
I downloaded android version on samsung s5.can open app and sight with the leveling tools, then hold the middle button (menu), photo is not being dumped to gallery, instead i am getting popup of google "get now" card.

When I choose this the email opens and I can send, but the recipient, just get pages of code not the photo. If I create an email I can attach the photo and it sends. I also get this when i try to forward some photos i receive via email, they just receive code.

6 months ago i synced my photos (950 of them) to my laptop. But my laptop crashed and i needed to restore it default, so what i did was i copied all synced photos back to my iphone to act as a temporary storage of my photos. but now im about to sell my iphone 4 and i need to transfer my photos back to my laptop i cant seem to do it!!! and im here and ive spent a good 5 hours researching and downloading third party apps just to do that to no success. Im getting frustrated as this should be a walk in the park but its complicated as **** with this phone. Im starting to hate this phone now as this shoud be very easy (just a copy paste) job for older phones with memory cards. ive used iExplore but it doesnt work it just shows the camera roll pictures which consists of recent ones but not the photo library ones..

Been trying to figure out the gallery since I got the phone. It lumps every photo I have into 1 Album even though I have them in folders. They are on the internal memory. I made a folder called Media / My Pix // and Media / My Flix. I know On my HTC it read my folders and grouped then which was nice.

Do you have sometimes when looking between photos you get a black screen even though there should be a photo there in place and by going to the icon preview screen back to the photo it comes back up? It's happened to me even after restoring.

When I purchased the Photon they just slapped my old blackberry Sim card in and unfortunately the settings for the camera were such that 1300 photos later (of my 18 month old) I discovered all the photos taken since I've had the Photon are on the device and not the Sim card... problem is I've been unable to download to them via PC despite downloading the recommended drivers...can't get the computer to recognize the USB no matter what I do. Plan B was to use the Photo Portal...tried that today...via WiFi..28 minutes of downloading and got just ONE photo downloaded... PLEASE Help!! This is driving me crazy as I don't want to lose all the photos and videos of my little one due to a freak accident where the phone drops into the water etc...
