Sep 8, 2015I just got the 6s today. I went to the facebook app that was already on the phone and followed the steps to download the app. The phone goes through all the motions to download the app, it even shows it downloading. Once it reaches 43mb a notification pops up saying could not Install. It then give me the choice to try later or retry now. I have read other forum Posts saying to clear cache and restarting the phone. But still no luck. What could be wrong? I have Ino talked other apps today with no problem.

Jul 12, 2015I'm unable to download themes to my Samsung S6. When I select one to download a pop up appears on screen for a fraction of a second (it's such a small period of time, that I can't read the text displayed on it). The pop up then disappears and the theme is not downloaded.
I'd disabled some applications on my phone as they were hogging memory, and I think that might be something to do with it; so I've re-enabled all of the Samsung apps but I'm still not having any luck.

Feb 22, 2010Since upgrading to the free navigation version of Ovi Maps 3.03, the application refuses to go online when its launched. There is a workaround, which I'll describe in a moment but it's not ideal.At the moment, when I open the application and, for example, move to the Drive icon, I get a "connecting" notification in the top left of the screen, which basically stays there. It never actually manages to connect satisfactorily, so if I plan a route, I invariably get a "Route not found" error. Naturally I have set it to go online via Options > Settings > Internet > Connection, and set the Network destination to an access point that functions perfectly in all other applications.In the device's General settings, the Positioning methods settings are ticked for Assisted GPS, Integrated GPS and Network based.I have tried configuring and using new destinations by copying/pasting working access points (Internet, WAP, GPRS etc) but no joy.I have also downloaded the SOA application which E52 owners have been advised to install.I have removed and re-installed Ovi Maps several times via several different media (the website, SW Update etc) but the problem persists on this version.
My workaround? If I go into settings and go offline, then exit settings and then go back in and set online again it connects and lo and behold it greets me with my Ovi username in the top left of the screen. I can then plan my routes, check the weather, the Lonely Planet guide etc without any problems.Why can't it go online automatically on application startup like it used to? Any ideas much appreciated.

Nov 2, 2012My charger has a blue light on it so I know when it is working as the light flashes (so I know its not the charger) but when I charge my phone the red light comes on and it goes to the reboot screen or a few seconds and then goes back to a black screen, then might repeat this a few times before not coming on again. It has also shown the battery with a lightening bolt and a red cross through it... I have used blackberry desktop software and have tried clearing my phone, re adding the OS but it just doesn't do anything yet it hasn't died completely as the reboot image comes up before dying again!

Jun 22, 2012My husbands Nokia 500 is refusing to connect to the Ovi store over wi-fi, when it will connect to everything else. It's always looking for mobile data and doesn't recognise the wi-fi connection. I didn't know how long this had been happening as he mostly uses his phone for calls and sms but I had upgraded the phone to Belle about 2 months ago....
So today, I re-installed the software on my Nokia C7 (because of a different problem) and now I can't connect to the store on wi-fi either!
Xperia Z3 :: Battery Died / Refusing To Charge - No LED Light
Jan 11, 2015- using my phone in the car, charging via my Sony Bluetooth Radio (built in to my car)
- battery was decreasing faster than charging and the phone ran out of battery and turned off
- tried to plug it into mains but no red light to verify charging
- used another charger and still no red light to verify charging
- tried to turn on. nothing. tried to reset. nothing.
- checked chargers with friends phone and chargers were working fine
- tried to charge the phone with a PC USB. PC verified something had been plugged in but said they couldn't verify and there was a problem.
- left the phone for about an hour.
- when returned to the phone the red out-of-battery light was blinking when I tried to press the power button.
- went to my car and tried to charge it via the sony bluetooth radio
- lights turned off and phone returned to unresponsive state
- got home about 40 minutes later and red lights are on
- charged it via AC adapter at home, left it for a bit, now charging normally.
For a while i thought my phone was completely busted and I was so angry as I've just had a replacement. Before lollipop if the phone ran out of battery it would just start to charge.. I wouldn't have to wait an hour for it to become responsive again?! just making sure this isnt a fault.

Nov 26, 2015Dropped S6 in water, turned off and left in rice bag for 2 weeks.
Tried to turn on today and it only boots to download mode, everything else just reboots the phone. Also it will only turn on when connected to USB so i'm guessing the battery is dead also.
My main concern is I have photos that I really want to try and recover and yes I know I know, always have a backup, as a desktop technician I really should have had that setup on my phone but here we are.
So my main target is to somehow get into recovery mode and then use ADB to pull files from the phone.
I've tried to flash many different recovery files but they always fail in Odin v3.10.7, log for Odin is:
