View 3 RepliesI just had a quick question about the S5 when you put earphones in the earphone jack. The notification bar pops up with "earphones connected" and then when you swipe down, you see a section of quick apps you can select to use your headphones with. I primarily use my headphones with Google Play Music, which is not one of the option, and I have it automatically bring up the app with Automaker as it is. I was curious if there was a way to disable that bar of app options that comes up on the notification panel. I didn't have it on my Galaxy S3, and I would actually prefer if it wasn't there.
View 12 Replies View RelatedRecently spent a long time outdoors in the rain, but phone was never wet. Got home and when I tried to charge it, it wouldn't work. Then when I finally got it to charge (left it overnight) it had only charged to 50% and would stop immediately after reaching 50%. Now the "USB connector connected" notification randomly shows up, even when the phone is not connected to anything. Several seconds later it says it's disconnected. Is the phone damaged, or is it my charger? Just bought another battery on amazon and an external charger in case it's the phone. I read somewhere to hard reset it but I have too much stuff to back-up. If nothing else works, I'll have to do it, but I'm saving that as a last resort.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is the first time I've used a Samsung phone in a while, and I've noticed that when I'm connected to WiFi I have a permanent notification saying, "WiFi Connected" in the notification panel. There's no way to dismiss it, and I can't seem to find a system setting to prevent the notification from appearing. Is this just how TouchWiz is, or am I missing a setting somewhere to turn it off?

My iPhone is not showing that it is connected to wi-fi. My laptop is showing the wi-fi signal with a completely strong signal. I have turned the phone off & on multiple times, and have turned the wi-fi (on the phone) off & on multiple times as well, all with the same result.

This is my first IPhone so i am unsure if i need to do anything on the actual phone itself in order for it to connect. I have registered the product, if that makes a difference. I just want to be able to transfer files to and from my device. i thought ITunes would easily be able to recognize when i connected my Iphone.

My netgear router is generating 192.168.0.1 and other wireless devices are connected to it. My iphone 3g is also connected to the same network but IP address shows 169.254.xxx.xxx. And does not browse or connect to internet.

Every time I unlock my Z2 and not connected to the internet, there will be this ‘Not connected to Internet’ notification appearing in the middle of my screen. And when I enable mobile data, this ‘Mobile data enabled’ notification appears. This notification appears on top of anything and it is blocking my view especially when I want to use the keyboard to type. Part of the keyboard is blocked by this notification. Even though the notification only last for about a second, it is still irritating. This notification only starts appearing 3 days ago, previously there isnt' this notification.
I would like to know how to disable this notification.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a bb curve 8520 on orange, im from the uk and have virgin broadband. i have a dlink wirles router. i can connect to it no problem and get the wifi emblem in white and black showing its connected, i also have my routers name come up so its definatly connected. i have litteraly no signal in my house, either 1 bar or sos, sometimes i will get uma signal, sometimes not, my gf has the same contract and phone as i do, both are orange branded phones and she gets uma signal almost instantly as she steps into the house. why do i not get uma, are my settigns not configured properly? as i really cant send or recieve calls and messages.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and have a media card inserted. All I want to do is upload my photos from the phone to my PC - I have downloaded the most recent Media Sync software and when I connect the BB, 16 photos only come up - there are more than that and these are the old photos that have previously been 'deleted'. The photos which I am viewing on the phone are nowhere to be seen. I have tried to enable USB on the memory menu and I just get these 16 old pictures.I have looked at the device on My Computer, and I can see these blasted 16 photos in the 'pictures' folder in the blackberry folder, but when I open the 'camera album' it is empty.How can this be?I think there may be a ghost in the machine, and I will be finding out soon as the **bleep** thing will be thrown against the wall and stamped on repeatedly!

I have several bluetooth speakers. I'll pair a speaker (UE boom in this case), connect the phone to the speaker and start to play some music. The audio comes out of the phone speakers. I had the phone "forget" the bluetooth speaker and then re-paired, no dice, audio still comes through the phone speakers. The same thing happens with my car sometimes. I've tried everything.

I get a message or some push from any app and I can pull the banner down; else, I can't get to make appear the notification center, even with notification pendings. And this last untl I reboot the phone (hard or simple way).

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhenever I send a text, a notification pops up for less than a second and then goes away so quickly that I was having trouble even seeing what it was. I finally got a good enough look at it to go through my app list and find what was causing it, which turned out to be the "Usage" app. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's supposed to happen, but I figured I would come here and see just to be sure and see if there is a way I can make it stop. The "allow notifications" check box is checked and grayed out, so I can't change it.
