Jun 19, 2010I purchased nokia 5235 two weeks back. The ringtone volume is very very low and most of the time I missed the calls due to it. Also audio output of songs is very low. Is this the problem with all nokia 5235 or probably with my handset. Kindly suggest the solution.

Oct 15, 2012I had this same issue before sending it in for Nokia repair. For some reason my audio from listening to a earphone does not work right. I get a very low echo sound of the music and I don't get any voice. Podcast, I get silence and don't know why I get this issue. It does not have any water damage and has no scratches. I have screen protector on the front and back. Never had this issue with my HTC HD7. Now I did clean the jack input with a earpick and still the same issue. I don't want to send it in again to Nokia repair because I will be with out a phone for 3 weeks. Very upset and if I can't get it working then Samsung or HTC will be my next Windows phone 8 phone.

Nov 9, 2011I've been using my Moto Droid, running Android 2.2.2 for some time now. Up until recently, I've been able to use it to listen to Pandora and mp3s loaded onto the phone. Now, any time I plug a set of headphones into the audio jack, the audio is really distorted. It sounds like a channel is out or something, and this happens across all volume levels. It pretty much sounds like you're listening to music underwater. Doesn't matter if it's streaming adio through Pandora or mp3 audio. When I unplug the headset (any headset, mind you) and go to external speaker, the audio is fine.

Jan 5, 2013When my Lumia is connected to the car via bluetooth, its connected with both audio profiles, Voice (Phone Call Audio) and Music (A2DP).So when connected and Nokia Drive is running the audio is sent to A2DP to then be sent to the aux input of the car stereo. This is all well and good if you have the radio on and AUX selected. But if you are listening to FM radio or a CD etc you don't hear any voice guidance from Nokia Maps.
This is a question directed at Nokia Maps Developers. Can a setting be created that allows you to select audio output via bluetooth? If you could select it to go via the Voice/Phone call Profile, like for instance the Speech input works on Windows Phone, for reading/replying to text messages, then when ever there is a direction to be spoken, the car bluetooth would treat it as a phone call, cut sound to the radio and speak the direction through the speakers no matter what the radio was outputting.If the above doesn't make sense then please ask me as this would be a worth while setting to be developed.

Mar 3, 2011i just bought my nokia e5 last week. i realized that i cannot turn off the sound when i snap pictures with the camera. i've gone to the settings, it only allows for changed between camera tone 1 to tone 4. No way to turn off the sound at all.
Turned the phone to silent mode, but the camera sound remains. Does anyone know how i can get rid of that sound? (as it is quite irritating)

Dec 21, 2012I have been using nokia e7 for nearly a year now until two days before it suddenly went wrong. There is no sound at all from the speaker no matter I received calls or sms. I found out that when I played songs in the video, there is no sound either. However, I could hear the songs and calling, sms tones ringing when I plugged in my headphone. I have reset it *#7370# but the problem isn't solved. Is the speaker malfunction?

I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.

I've tried the earbuds that came with the phone, as well as an old set of Sony Stereo headphones I have - listening to music downloads from the Spotify App as well as just using earbuds/headphones in normal phone mode (calls, voicemail, etc) - both only playing in Mono mode (no sound at all from left channel, only right). Whereas, I used to have an option to "choose audio output" (iPhone, speaker, or handsfree device), there is now only the standard built-in speaker option - as though no Bluetooth were connected. The handsfree device (Blueant S4) is connected and contacts synced, and still allows me to make calls - and yet, the audio of the phone calls can only be from the iPhone itself.
