My Nokia E52 suddenly turned off a few nights ago. When I tried to restart it, nothing happens. I do hear the buzzing sound that comes when you push the power button. But the screen stays black. And I've tried to connect it to my computer, but the port, can't find my phone when its plugged into the usb-port. I have already tried another E52-battery, with no luck.
View 2 RepliesIts been three month since i bought my Nokia E6, I was pretty happy with the phone uptil Yesterday.
I pulled down the screen lock rocker to check for any updates, but there was no display. the backlights were all on though, i tried swithcing off using the power button, but it wont switch off, so i removed the batt, after that the phone simply refused to boot up. when i pressed the power button it giave me the usual vibrartion and thats it. No display/backlight or anything. I tried removing the SIM and battery and then re-inserting just the battery and then turned it on but still same result. When i put it on charge it gives me the usual blip and the charging LED blinks at times..but the phone will not start up.
The E52 is an absolute failure... apart from being nice and easy to use and nice keypad, the rest is utter trash. I have had this phone fail several times, i only use it for sms, thats is, never connected to PC or downoad any **bleep**, patches etc for it, and time and time again, Nokia takes people 'smoney to 'reset' this ohoine and send it back. It costs money, and time, and a lot of frustrations also having to go without a phone in the first place. The start up codes do not work for me. I am told it is a software failure, such unreliable, it just shuts down oen time never tostart again, if it does you get the phone start up failed contact your retailer.

Then I tried to make a hard reset by pressing the power button for 8 seconds, still no results. I tried to press the menu button with the volume and the power button together but still the phone is totally shut down.

View 12 Replies View Relatedi just bought my nokia e5 last week. i realized that i cannot turn off the sound when i snap pictures with the camera. i've gone to the settings, it only allows for changed between camera tone 1 to tone 4. No way to turn off the sound at all.
Turned the phone to silent mode, but the camera sound remains. Does anyone know how i can get rid of that sound? (as it is quite irritating)
I have been using nokia e7 for nearly a year now until two days before it suddenly went wrong. There is no sound at all from the speaker no matter I received calls or sms. I found out that when I played songs in the video, there is no sound either. However, I could hear the songs and calling, sms tones ringing when I plugged in my headphone. I have reset it *#7370# but the problem isn't solved. Is the speaker malfunction?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have nokia 5800 with latest firm ware v40, when i do call to somebody, i can hear the sound, but on the another side, cant hear me speak, he/she said my voice so slowly. i think in the first time is network problem, but change mobile phone, its okay.... so i think the problem is my nokia 5800, when i test with recorder application, i found that its very slowly, i try with the same voice and same volume with another phone, its good, so i think i have problem with my nokia 5800, especially with microphone. can somebody help me what to do? should replace firmware ? or this is hardware damage?

I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.
I did few video recordings and found that the sound output is sort of metallic.

Then wen i switch off and switch on my phone, i wil be able to hear my tone back. So i thought at first that it might be a software problem....so i updated my software to 071.004....so far it was working fine and now sdnly its back to how it used to be....has anyone faced a similar problem to mine?

I've tried rebooting it while the charger is connected, removed the battery, put it back...everything! Seriously. A few days ago it also had problems to start up: I pressed "on" button untill it vibrates (then it normally starts up) but it didn't do anything, after some tries (around 15) it did start up. Then today the phone just shutted down and wasn't able to start up. And I get the message in the title.I have tried hard reset (shift, space, backspace + on) but it doesn't do anything.I have the newest firmware for my country (Belgium) and i think its 92.003 but not entirely sure.
