Recently, whenever I try to sign into Windows Live Messenger using Nokia Chat, I get the "request could not be completed" error. This happens regardless of using Wi-Fi or mobile data. I reinstalled the chat client to no avail. Using Anna v25.007 (if the solution entails upgrading to Belle, it's not a step worth taking).

I have spoke at great lengths to Telus Tech support and they cant figure out why it is happening. Have reinstalled it at least 10 times. It has been off Blackberry world or of microsoft itself. Msn can have its issues.I can sign in on everyone elses phone...BUT MINE! No one who has tried could sign in on mine. They are still researching why it is not working.My yahoo works fine!

Try again later.". So I had this for a few days, using different connections and all that stuff, and the problem remained.With no option left, I decided to uninstall the app and thought: "Well, I'll just reinstall it!". There you go, now I need to reinstall that app to my phone. How can I do that? Where can I download the original chat App ("messenger, yahoo, gtalk, etc.", that all-in-one app that comes with E5)? I've tried reinstalling the system, like, using Nokia Suite and pressing the "reinstall system" button there is in the Updates tab, but that didn't help.

I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?

When I start the chat, I am shown an option "Get the latest IM service" When I click this option, I see "Checking for new IM updates". It keeps checking for updates for a min or so then I get a message 'Error: Unable to complete request. Try Again" I have a proper wifi and so its not a connectivity issue. I received two download links from the Nokia website upon request. Clicking on the link gets me to the download site and it asks me to sign in or register if I don't have a Nokia account. Whoever designed this was either on drugs or intoxicated, because without a nokia account they don't send you a download link in the first place. Since I do post this message here, I obviously did register and have an account. The problem is, my username and Password is not being recognized and it sends me into a never ending loop, with other words I am unable to sign in and download the application.i am at my wits ends and I am fuming at Nokia for giving me such a hard time to download a simple mobile app. My phone model is the E71x and both apps I received the link for are supposed to be compatible with this model.
