How do i remove chat from my home screen in the horizontal icon bar theme?I can adjust my shortcuts but am missing the option 'home screen applications'?
View 8 RepliesI have a Nokia E72 and I have a customization problem. I have a gmail account installed in the phone and there is a homescreen link for it, just under the applications bar at the top. The thing I want to delete this link from my home screen but there is no settings for it. This link is not seen in home screen customization links in mod settings nor in the mail settings. how to delete this from home screen?

I checked the ways to download it, like at Ovi Store, but I still found no trace. I haven't really cared about it until recently because I thought E5s didn't have them. And I still don't know if they do or not.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNormally i can start typing some letters on the homescreen and the phone will offer me the contacts that match these letters. Then i select the contact and press the button to call.
Since yesterday i can no longer use this function; When i type letters, i don't get any contacts. Only way to call my contacts now it to go into addressbook and select them there. I tried turning it off and on but this didn't resolve the issue.
I want to add a shortcut on my homescreen, but only 1 not 4 at a time... If I add "Shortcuts" to my homescreen, it can only be 4...
For eg. I only want to add "New Message" as 1 shortcut. Then maybe have an option to make the other shortcuts "None"... in the shortcuts widget.

In the beginning, I only displayed my hotmail en gmail on my homescreen. I recently (succesfully) added my work emailaddress (through exhnage/MfE), and now I want to have this emailbox to be displayed on my homescreen.
However, so far Ive only found out (through Settings - General - Personal - Standby modus - Modus settings - Emailnotofication), youre only capable of showing 2 emailboxes on your homescreen. Is there any way to get 3 emailboxes to be displayed on your homescreen?
why cant I change the name of my emailbox setup through MfE/Exchange? E.g., you can rename your gmail box to any desired name; this however isnt possible for MfE/Exchange emailadresses.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a weird problem with my E71. Occasionally the contacts search where you start typing a name and the contacts pop up filtered on the home screen just stops working. I can get it working again by disabling and reenabling the feature (by typing something and choosing options>contacts search off; then turning back on).
why it is randomly ceasing to work? It's really annoying to sometimes use it and have it not work and then have to disable and re-enable.

I was thinking it might be a local provider issue but I heard that Nokia messaging servers have been having problems.
What's the solution for email? Shows the "Preparing for Setup" message forever when I launch the email wizard and doesn't move forward to display options of GMail, Yahoo etc.
