I upgraded the firmware to the latest version for E63 (500. somthing) but when the phone was restarted, it asked for region and i accidentally selected the wrong region. How do i correct/change it to the correct one?
View 1 RepliesI have recently bought an E71 in Oman, where I work and live, with an Arabic/English keyboard.There is so much squashed on each key (and the English bit was so small) that I have decided to change to an English only keyboard.I have done this at a cost of 15GBP whilst visiting Dubai.It works fine except that some of the keys do not now create on screen what is pressed on the keyboard.For example if i press the '?' or the 'Full stop' is not where it should be.In other words the phone still thinks that i have an Arabic / English keyboard and not an English only keyboard.Its like an American and UK 'PC' keyboard. The @ is located in different places for example.I believe that I need to change a setting or add some software.Can any one advise (simply) what I need to do to correct this issue if possible.links to software, instructions etc.

The problem is that i cant change credit card number (because its not mine or working..) my credit card is registered in Sweden and the hacker changed region and country to USA. So I cant change country to Sweden because i dont have the right payment and billing information. And i cant change my credit card because my credit card is registered in Sweden!

I do that to install application which has certificate expired .After reset (8 secs. power btn. press) situation is still persist - hangs on pulpit and no reaction for any button but power (8 sec. reset).

Before I went to bed, I set the clock back one hour and made sure that the phone had all automatic time changes OFF since I've had problems before with this (only with Nokia, worth mentioning). On the morning of the 30th, my collegue calls me and wonders if I am at work. Turns out the stupid phone set the time back one hour as well without informing that such a thing would happen! I was one hour late for work and it was all because of the phone! Why did it not say that automatic time changes was planned to occur? And why did it change it even though all automatic changes was turned off?
