I'm sure I remember reading somehwere on these forums about a piece of software which automatically downloaded Facebook profile pictures for contacts in your address book and used these pictures for Caller ID?
View 5 RepliesWhen I go to m.facebook.com, and I want to view a picture, the picture is really reaaalyyy small, because the resolution of the E6 is very high. I had an e72, and the pictures were bigger on this phone because of the lower resolution, but it's better to view the pictures big.Is there a possible solution to enlarge the picture or something, or lower the resolution to view the pictures. I have tried the social app on the E6, but that app loads the pictures on facebook very slow, it's practically useless.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving problems with the E7 caller ID? Randomly the phone doesn't show the callers name, even if he/she is listed on my phonebook. This is not related to duplicate entries, because it works right after phone restart, but fails randomly. The SMS list is also affected, but not all the time. Few times a have seen a call come in and not show the name of the caller. After I have missed that call, I'll go to the missed calls list and there is the name of the caller?!

So, I do not know who's calling me... it just say: Joe. But I have in my adrees book a Joe from Vodafone, a Joe from P&G and some other Joe's. On my old phone, when someone rang me, showed eg. Joe from Vodafone.
after I updated my Nokia E6 to the recent software, it doesnt show the callers names when receiving a call and when receiving an sms. I have to save the same number twice, once with international prefix example +963 (thats for my home country) and once without. When receiving calls it show the name only if saved without the prefix (unless its an international call) and when receiving sms it shows the name only when its saved with the international prefix. I didnt have that problem before the update!

View 1 Replies View Relatedthe gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. View 3 Replies View RelatedI used to use Nokia Photo Browser to see my pictures, instead of the default Gallery (hope this is the right name in English).
Somehow, recently I couldn't see the latest pictures with Photo Browser and I found that my Camera NOW stores the pictures in E:DCIM100NOKIA instead of E:PICTURESecc.I've tried a rest of the settings of Camera but with no success.
For some strange reason when I put my memory card into a new E72 when viewing pictures previously saved on to the memory card the images are showing incredibly blurry and sizes range between 1kb and 3kb, the pictures look fine as a thumbnail, and its as if the picture is saved as the thumbnail.
However when viewing through file manager or trough my laptop the images are perfectly sized memory and when opened they aren't blurry at all they are back to normal.
I have already attempted removing images from memory card, putting them back on, moving to phone memory and trying to view them there, but it's the same.
Just discovered this so I imagine it's developed a fault, When I take a picture with flash, the flash fires before the camera shutter opens so the picture comes out dark.

Roughly 40% of the picture is blocked on the bottom side. The weird thing is that there are a few of my contacts whose picture floats ABOVE the grey "Calling..." box. These are the exception though. Most of my contacts with pictures have half their face covered by this box.

After that I turned it back on and went to upload the pictures again and I seen Iron Man 2 pictures there, so I went to my galley to check it out and they were there. Five pictures I think, I can't remember I deleted them, they were pretty small. Anyone else have this or an idea of what happened? They weren't on there before I turned my phone off?

I have received a half dozen or so phone calls since I upgraded to Lollipop, and so far every call that I've had has a caller ID picture assigned in contacts, but none have shown up with a picture while the call is actually ringing my phone.
Has Google removed caller ID pictures on incoming calls, or is there something else going on here?
