I updated to 052.005.It used to remember email addresses, the quick entry by typing in the name has stopped working, it just comes up with the person's name in grey and says feature not supported.

I had one when the phone released 2 years back in 2009 and got it in the Metal Grey but sold it for an Htc Inspire.Back on topic, I had no problems with the E72's email client back then on my old device but noticed a difference in my recent E72. I have a Yahoo email account set up on my device. Syncing is great, but the problem is that i'm unable to view my created folders for sorting of mailI have no problems viewing this on my Htc Inspire, but I want to be able to see them on my E72.

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.
View 3 Replies View Relatedthe gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. Same problem is with the video app... I've already reseted it three times, but still no change.... And the crazy thing is, that with the photo browser app I'm able to see the pictures... Also there's a problem with switching the ring and alarm-tone. Exactly the same thing, I Do have music on my phone and the player is working... But I can't choose another tone for alarmtone, won't open fricking folder.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm hopping this turn out to be something amazingly simple, something I've accidentally touched or selected. It wasn't on purpose if it was. For some reason, text notifications are no longer appearing on the bottom left corner of my screen. Instead, they are now appearing up on the top right by my battery indicator. This is more than a little inconvenient as it's so much smaller than the bottom left option making it harder to touch correctly. Is there any way I can change it back to the bottom left again?

And always showing lock code error. I already used the lock code option for restarting phone. I changed the default 12345 to 543215 and the feature is working smoothly until 3 days before. Now what happened is that phone is not allowing any of the codes. I try 543215, 12345, 0000 everything I knew. But in vein. I cannot use my phone anymore.

I have a Nokia E72-2 and I have configured an office account (mail for exchange), gmail and hotmail email. i also had configured a yahoo account but as it didn't work, I went o the settings and removed it.
Since that day, I have not been able to add any new account to the program. Whenever I go to add a new account I open the New mailbox, select anthing on the next screen (yahoo/gmail), it promps to enter email id and password, which i do. then there is a message "detecting email settings" and then it goes back to the screen where I selected yahoo/gmail. I use it to send and receive emails on my phone.The emails that I receive go to the "inbox" on the E52 and I can access that on my PC too.The emails that I send go to the "Sent items" folder on the E52 and not the IMAP sent folder.Ovi Suite will not let me download sent emails to my PC.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having real trouble trying to get any kind of push email on my Nokia E63. I'm in the UK and on firmware 410.21.010 with Nokia Email 9.06.16. According to the Nokia updating site this is the most recent firmware available for my serial number.The email setup just doesn't seem to work at all like the help docs here suggest. I get no option for 'Nokia Email Service' but I do get one for gmail. I can then setup my gmail box OK - but there is no setting for IMAP idle. It only allows me to set up a scheduled retrieval (at best every 5 minutes) and even then only downloads the headers so I have to manually download the message body. Does Nokia really not do push email at all?I've been using emoze as an alternative for a while - but stopped when I found that it was sending random email all by itself. And Mail for Exchange doesn't work with gmail for me - it just stops syncing after a while.

Have tried to set up a gmail as well with no success. It goes to configure the mailbox and then I get "unable to connect with the information provided. Try again". It has been doing this since Saturday 4th Feb.. I have upgraded the software on the phone and reset factory settings with no success.

It's a shame for nokia, E6 is a business phone!!! E6 has this issue since first Anna firmware and 3 upgrades didn't solve this very annoying issue! Hard reset, soft resets firmware recovery from Nokia Suite useless. I won't NEVER buy a Nokia phone, for sure.

My E7 has stopped sending emails with attached files.Emails with attachments sit in outbox and get the "Unable to open while sending" tip when I try to view/edit the email.AFAIK, nothing has changed in terms of my setup as the E7 recieves emails with attachments, sends emails without attachments. I can't seem to find any in depth settings to do with server ports and such within the mail settings anymore.
View 8 Replies View Relatedi have a Torch 9800 on AT&T and I am running 6.0.0.526. When I reboot my phone, I receive a message "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException." Everything was fine until I did an OTA update to 6.0.0.600 last Friday. After I did the update, I could not change my theme(menu<options would pop up then close and Options<display< screen display would do the same thing) and I would get the error. I downgraded to 6.0.0.526 official and I still had the error but I was able to change my theme. I decided to trim my OS using BBHTool (have done this before with no problems). I am still receiving the error even after several battery pulls. I retrieved my event log from Crackutil and below is what shows up(5 times) for the error.

Had problems setting up two email accounts on my E72. Now set up ok, however I have been left with one of the failed accounts that I cannot remove. This account is in emails and is listed under settings but when I try to remove it it sitill remains. I can not open this account in settings either.
