i have nokia c3-00 i saw the last update is V 08.63 in the web and when i test update my phone by pc i use nokia suite and Nokia Software Updater They said the last updated is V 07.20 and i have this update in my phone
I have v41.0.010 installed on my c6-00. Nokia suite v3.5,34 doesnt show me any updates for my C6-00. However the site says it got updated to v42.2.004I tried doing it over the air with no success followed.
How to update my ovi store. it always says that it was download failed. My current version is 2.6.0 and it can't update into 3.32.1 so ican't use the store.
Firstly, I've had a problem ticket and Emails with Nokia Support on the problem I'm about to describe and I'm told it will be forwarded to the OVI Suite Team to investigate.Basic problem is that Ovi Suite can not correctly register/recognise the maps it has downloaded to the phone. However the phone checks the server with it's map update function and reports back that they are at the latest level and no updates are available. Ovi Suite tells me correctly the maps I have on my phone but still offers the " 'gold star' Updated Maps Available" and if you then click this BOOM! all your phone maps are wiped out as the new maps start to download.VERY VERY annoying and expensive in time and financially costly on internet connections with limited/paid for bandwidth.I can confirm, as support have, that I have the lastest versions of phone software, maps software and installed maps.I've also done 3 clean installs (including running PC Suite Cleaner) and the problem still remains. As far as the phone is concerned it is totally happy with all software levels (after checking with the servers) and everything else works on the phone as normal.
I have asked if there are any internal logs/debug switches I can turn on to help diagnose the problem but am advised'for nokia use only' (or words to that effect). From an end user point of view this is very frustrating, especially the basic map update mechanism as once initiated all existing maps are wiped out on the phone.I think this should be changed if at all possible. Most people will want an up to date map for where they are or planning to go.However to have a map version of places you are likely to go at short notice (even if they are out of date) is and important backup/safety feature. To be forced to update all maps is really not a very user or server friendly feature.Anyway, any comments are welcome (do you have a C5-03 & Ovi Suite and see this issue?) and meanwhile I'll wait to see if there is a fix in the pipeline.
When run software update on the pc i had to do some anna service updates, so i did them, no sign of belle. I went back on and still no belle update, it just says all applications are up to date.
I use wifi extensively in C7.I wasn't able to update my phone when the Belle Update rolled out. I have my another laptop and I checked belle on my brothers Nokia 701 it does seem better.
I hav a nokia c7-00 with symbian anna v022.014.the latest update available is v025.007 but it is neither available to me at my phone updator nor nokia suite.what should i do?also the store available on my phone is nokia ovi store and not the new nokia store
i'm using c6-01 and i checked for software updates. symbian belle appears. should i update it? i've heard some problems when they updated from anna to belle.
is there any way of permanently turning off the sound for a balance update after texting from C3-01, without affecting the sound/alarm for any normal incoming texts?
Before the unpdate, the phone had no problems connecting to my WLAN. After an upgrade with Belle, it is impossible to get WiFi to work : Although the roaming finds my WLAN, and after introducing the exact WEP key, I allways get a WiFi not found error. I allready tried all the tricks mentionned in different posts over here, without succes.

Got the message that new phone-SW is available. Connected to OVI-Store via USB and started update. Backup was o.k.., update started but could not reconnect to phone and aborted with error message. (cable was not removed up to this point) Now phone screen is black with no reaction on any key. Just after having taken off battery I get a buzz when pushing the red key like on power up, but no further reaction. Phone seems to be waiting for data download.
I tried to update the software of Nokia C5-05. It goes upto 3rd step Installing and shows 15 minutes remaining. Then after some time it shows "connection to the phone was lost". And asked to disconnect and reconnect. I tried this about 50 times in two days but same situation every time. Please suggest a method.
Until I updated my C6-01 to Belle, I was satisfied with the quality of the photos, given the known restrictions of the fixed focus lenses.
After Belle update, I have this impression that almost every photo I take is out of focus. I allways use the virtual button on the camera app to shoot photos, and not the physical button on the right side of the phone. I have not dropped my phone on the ground or something. I allways take good care of the phone.
