"Nokia 701 can not connect to its OS properly so how its connecting people."typeRM-774Now and then my mobile hangs, when i restart it leaves it GPRS, then again i restart it multiple number of time then suddenlly wow it again start working.....In march i pruchased C7 it was hanging, my retailer told me purchase 701.. 1gz speed never hang... but its worst then C7.....I think nokia has start hiring failure or fired out mobile developers Er. in your team... Please do something or you will loose your top seat in India... main cause of your dip in sales figure is poor handsets that you have start dumping in market... give quality product...

Aug 1, 2010I cant seem to connect to my ovi account via ovi suite (could not sign in), it asks if the internet connection is working.Though when i try log in via the ovi website I have no issues.
It wouldnt have bothered me but now it asks to log in for me to update the phone software so cant update. If this doesnt get resolved I am hoping that software updater in pc suite still works? I had this response from Nokia but not very helpful:"This problem could be related to security software on your PC preventing Ovi Suite from accessing the internet.
In general, we recommend setting the security settings to Medium level within any security software. Setting security to High level may cause issues in attempting to sign into the Ovi Suite Service or when downloading music.You may need to check with the vendor of your security software for specific configuration instructions."

Jan 16, 2010I've recently purchased a N900, and I'm trying to create a new e-mail account to connect to my hotmail/msn account.
The settings I'm using are :
Incoming server : pop3.live.com
Outgoing server : smtp.live.com
But when it's all setup, I get the message :"Unable to connect to pop3.live.com. Server name or port number may be incorrect" Can someone tell me the correct settings please?

Nov 28, 2011I can connect with Wi-Fi by using Opera(original one), Chat, Games, i.e. all. It is all OK.
Also I can connect with my GPRS by using Opera(still original one), Twitter and Facebook app(its own app), Mail app(its own app, connecting GMail and Hotmail, and able to connect their chat facilities like GTalk and MSN).
However; I cannot connect OVI Store by GPRS, any application stored in Games.
I'm using GPRS heavily in order to use Wi-Fi so I cannot use some critical Apps like accounting or such whivh need connection.

Check credential settings."I am using Nokia C6 and before I upgraded to belle (both with symbian and anna) I was able to sync my calendar and emails.But, after the upgrade I started to get the error.Recently I purchased my N8 for my wife and I thought I should try it out again on the N8 (that does not have the belle upgrade yet). The activesync worked like a breeze.Our company certificates require user to setup the phone lock code active. I was forced to do that on N8 as soon as I setup the activesync.But with belle, if I turn the phone lock off, it doesn't even prompt me for that. Right now I have the two phones setup exactly the same (with the lock code active). The N8 connects and syncs up just fine and C6 does not.
