I can't make the CS-18 stick to connect to internet. I just re-installed the software and now the blue light flashes but the "Connect to Internet" button is disable. It was working until 1 month ago, but a had to uninstall it. Now, after the installation procedure finishes, it asks for the drivers for the Nokia CDC Device.

View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday the software update Nokia Belle for C7 was approved for my region. I installed it instantly by following the instructions. After the update my device worked well, but I noticed some things that may point to a software problem on the device. I decided to reinstall it. I followed the instructions, the Nokia Suite checked and found the installation file on my PC and the reinstallation began normally. A backup was made of my contacts and other stuff, then the installation began.
Not long after that the Suit says that the connection to my device is lost (not a windows warning). It suggested several things to do to continue, but it couldn't. Currently my C7 is not working. I tried to remove and put back the battery & recharge it but still can't start the phone. When I plug it to my PC via USB, I hear the windows sound for USB device connected and disconnected after that. The only living sign of my device is the little white light, next to the USB port, which is blinking when I plug the charger and try turn the phone On.
My partner has a BB Curve 8520 and tried to install an app from bbworld yesterday, the phone restarted and now gets 3/4 of the way across the bar and fails to load anymore, Ive done some research and realised i need to reinstall the os, The problem being we only have one usb lead and i use that to tether internet through my bb torch, Iv downloaded the installation files but whenever i start it 'checks for updates', which i believe means online, it will not go past this step, Is there a way to manually reinstall the os without having to connect to the internet? If i try connecting to the desktop software it recognises my device and pin but says it cant connect so needs to update, and leaves me with the same problem.

Also I can connect with my GPRS by using Opera(still original one), Twitter and Facebook app(its own app), Mail app(its own app, connecting GMail and Hotmail, and able to connect their chat facilities like GTalk and MSN).
However; I cannot connect OVI Store by GPRS, any application stored in Games.
I'm using GPRS heavily in order to use Wi-Fi so I cannot use some critical Apps like accounting or such whivh need connection.
I am unable to open ovi store client.. It gets stuck on the loading page.After installing belle, it asked me to update ovi store client when i opened it. It downloaded and updated completely but now gets stuck at the "Welcome to store" screen

I was forced to do that on N8 as soon as I setup the activesync.But with belle, if I turn the phone lock off, it doesn't even prompt me for that. After scanning got the option to reinstall the device software aka firmware.Clicked it and it downloaded the firmware package from nokia server and game me three preparatory alert. It was fine.. Then did the back up. Done too. After that it start the installation step. In that It say Preparation and then installing software, before anything happens to N82 it Nokia Ovi just disconnect the mobile and on the installation Process it is written " Installation failed".

ried to go through same process to reinstall firmware but when I click to check for the updates I don't get an option to reinstall the firmware. Tried it many times even after restarting the machine.
Then installed Nokia Software Updater .same thing as Window 7. No Update and also no option to reinstall the firmware.nstalled Nokia PC suite just as a thought of any missing file needed to run the update process. But nothing changed.Now kindly tell me HOW to install the firmware as now I just want to reinstall the firmware and sell this Nokia **bleep**.I am fed up of this and trying from last three days.
