Oct 17, 2011since the anna update i cannot download any application with my phone. Even my ovi store cannot open again..whenever i click on the ovi store it will bring out 'download nokia store' but when i click download. It will not download..I don't know what to do cos this makes it impossible for me to enjoy this phone

Feb 15, 2012I have set up my yahoo mail account on my Nokia C6-01. I receive mails as they should do. But I Cant send mail. When I compose a mail and try to send it it just stays in outbox. I have set the mailbox settings correctly. While my gmail account works fine to send mails. Mails are sent instantly. Is anyone else going thru this trouble? And I Cant set up the Ovi mail mailbox. It keeps telling me "unable to sign in"

Feb 10, 2012I upgraded my C7 to Belle now. Bad news: When I receive a mail or SMS that contains a link to a web page, I cannot open it. What happens is:I first get a notification sying 'Loading'. Then, one or two seconds later, it says 'Loading failed.
I am not 100% sure if this started with Belle. I installed quite a few application after I upgraded to Belle, so maybe it's one of those that causes the problem.
What I did, of course, was to check Application Settings > Default Applications > Browsing internet That's set to 'Internet', which I believe is what it should be. (I also tried to reset everything there, still nothing.)
I really, really, really wouldn't want to wipe the whole phone, re-install belle, re-install all of the applications.Is there a way to check what really gows wrong and fix it?

It only works for default mail services, but if I want to setup other email accounts, I need some way to enter IMAP/POP servers, ports, etc. If I choose "Other" in mail client, I can only enter mail address and password. Then I see message that connection can not be established. I expect to have an ability to enter all mail setting myself, but can't find any way to do it. It is really desappointing.

After updating to Belle that option seems to be gone so I no longer have a way to sync Google Calendar (setting up a Gmail account is not a problem, but without Mail for Exchange I can't figure out how to sync my Google Calendar.

I like the phone very much but there is a serious problem with the operation of the email software. Almost every time I try and open an email I get a message "Mail out of memory. Restart application". Occasionally I get the "java/lang" memory error that others have referred to. This renders the email function virtually useless. I am using the phone's standard built in email program. I delete all old emails. I have no games or apps installed on the phone and the phone memory (as opposed to the card memory) is showing 20% free.

Now I would like to display my inbox mails in the e-mail widget on the phone's desktop. But when I access the e-mail widget and select "Set up e-mail" and "Start", Lotus Traveler is not an option to be selected (as shown in the Nokia tutorial video). I use mulitiple email addresses in gmail (personal, business, etc), but when sending or replying with Nokia Mail it always uses the standard gmail address. I've even set my business address as the default in gmail settings, but when using Nokia Mail it still uses the standard gmail address instead.I've also tried gmail in Opera Mini and it allows me to choose different email addresses to send or reply from. I prefer the interface of Nokia Mail and the signature option, but if there is no way to change the "from" address I won't be able to use it. Is there any way to fix this?

Now after the update the Nokia Mail does not open anymore. When I push the Mail-button on my C3-00 it shows "opening mail" and then NOKIA "Loading Mail", the white screen with the yellow envelope. But then nothing happens anymore. The screen stays this way FOREVER. It does not freeze, I can exit the application YES/or NO.

Jun 7, 2010This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.

Mar 19, 2010I just sent an e-mail to myself from my blackberry and chose to send from my gmail account, but instead it just decided it might be better to send it from my work e-mail address? How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?
