I just bought a brand new Nokia C6. I have to say, i'm very satisfied with the phone when it's in good shape, but it hangs a lot. When I lock the keypad on my phone, the phone locks itself and no amount of pressing and holding any button will revive it. This happens randomly. I have to remove and replace the battery. This happens around 6-7 times a day. I have tried to reset the phone, but it still got the problem.
View 19 RepliesI just procured my Nokia C6 3 days ago, and to be honest I am not able to use it. It hangs numerous times a day and the only way out is to disconnect the battery and plug it again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust today my Nokia C6-00 is hanging a lot...I didn't install any third party updates or packages.longback I installed few apps from ovi store and they were working fine..From today, don't know what happened, when I switch on my phone , it hangs for around 15 minutes. It's really unbearable when I wanted to switch to a different sim card in emergency...When the phone starts, it is just hanging.At first it shows : system error Then when I press ok, its gone and now the phone becomes unresponsive..When I press and hold the menu key, it shows different apps being loaded...First clock gets loaded and its gone.then contacts...then something called securewidget installer comes and it stays for 5 mins or so...then again fsmailserver comes and this one really stays so long that irritates me a lot...I tried to restore factory settings, it worked 2 or 3 times, but again then phone hangs when I restart it...

View 3 Replies View RelatedWell been a few hours with my new 950, I'm coming from a lumia 920 I had for 3 years and one major issue which is probably a WP10 bug is in several apps when you get an area that requires you to type in something the keyboard comes up and then the area you need to type in goes black like the entire background of the screen goes black so you can';t type anything in, sometimes the app out right crashes after that. This is making it difficult to do things.
One example is the loyalty card app, press to add a new card and try and type in a name and it does this, found this with several other apps to.
I have been having some problems with my 1520 and decided to see if a hard reset would solve the problem. However there were some problems with the backup some threads in SMS and some messages in other threads were missing, but more annoyingly a large number of apps were not reinstalled.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have this strange screen problem with my k850i, it doesn't go blank, but gets all fuzzy with lots of horizontal lines (very pixelated), you can still see the screen images, but it's difficult - and then all of a sudden it comes back picture perfect. I've updated all software, run a repair - everything I can think of. I can't figure out if it's a loose wire or something else.

It's asthough the data is not even recognised. I've r=tried resetting sync history in iSync prefs, as well clicking on 'replacing data for next sync only' option in iTunes. No success.

I returned my iphone 4s on Saturday for a new one because the camera on the old one won't work. I came home and synced and updated the new one. I purchased my Nokia E72 around 4-6 months ago and I love it as a phone. It does everything I need it to.
The problem I have is that it doesnt receive incoming calls 100% of the time or let me do outgoing 100% of the time. It randomly hangs or crashes and does not allow the incoming/outgoing calls. When it is like this I can use my phone with every other function possible and there is no sign that it isnt working.
The only time I can see that there is a problem is when I switch it off and on again and then I have many "Missed call" messages popping through.
Therefore I miss many calls for personal and business and I need to swithc my phone off and on maybe 3 times a day.
I dont understand why it does this as I have never dropped or damaged the phone in any way.
Nokia has been my first choice in phones for over 10 years but the amount of problems I have had with my N97 in the last 7 months means this will be my last.
I cannot update software or download anything because it keeps telling me I am out of memory. In fact the memory is so bad, what is the point of having all these wonderful apps if you cannot use them! waste of money!
It keeps switching itself off.
It keeps hanging so that the only way I can clear it is buy ringing it with another phone (which works for a couple of seconds), or by switching on and off a few times and hoping it works, or removing and replacing the batter (same results).
Now the camera doesnt automatically come on when i open the lens.
The backlight needs to stay open a lot longer than 60 seconds - that's **bleep** for surfing.
When updating the music library if i've made changes to the name of a track it will revert back to the original.
This is the tip of the iceberg, but the fact that it just keeps switching off when i'm nowhere near it and that i can't switch it on again is too unreliable.
At best this is an ipod on which you can surf and make/receive phone calls. you cannot use all the apps - i've never been able to have a game on their as well, or have documents on there etc etc without getting a beep to tell me i've not got enough memory.
Only done facetime a few times but last time I wasn't able to figure out how to return to a normal call and ended up hanging up. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, anyone care to point it out for me?

Before I get a lot of responses that say "just hold onto it with your hand", I never had this problem with my last two older gen phones.

Followed all the Pwnagetool guides to the T and when I get to the very last part, I got error message 1600, unable to restore. Surfing around I believe that my iPhone can not be jailbroken? Is that the case? iPhone just gets stuck in DFU or recovery mode and have to restore the iPhone with original apple firmware. On the last try I got a completely black screen and the iPhone only came back to life when I restored it with apple software. Any help is appreciated. I think because I have the lastest bootrom or loader I can not jailbreak as Pwnage tool doesnt support it yet. DAMN! I wanted Proswitcher and Backgrounder.
