I am getting a strange little goldfish symbol appearing on my phone - its like an orange envelope with a goldfish on that appears on my email icon. It's not always there but I dont know why it appears and goes

I keep seeing the call divert/forwarding symbol appear in the top status bar (a phone handset with an arrow pointing to the right). I cant seem to clear the icon unless I turn the phone hard-off and back on again. I have call forwarding permanently disabled so is this a bug? Is this icon supposed to appear if you just make use of voice mail?

I'm using it so that i can use my fb, i always turn off-on my cp but still it didn't appear. It's only now that it didn't appear, i didn't change any settings about my GPRS.

It also does not happen with new email that i send.any idea on how I can stop the emails reappearing as a new email?

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

My phone is not showing the 3G symbol & when i try to connect to twitter, facebook etc, it says "cant find signal, no connection, server not responding". I took the sim out, & restarted the phone but its still not showing. does that mean its just something with the network right now?

i have the curve 8520...it was working earlier today I changed my sim card so I put my phone shut off. After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI opened my gallery a few days ago to find that it was cluttered up with a lot of advertisements in the form of videos and pictures. There where about 10 - 20 of these and how they got there.
I don't download many apps at all, when I do I try be very careful to make sure they aren't harmful for my phone.
Before these ads had appeared though, I had installed two games. Knowing about how some apps will abuse permissions to do unwanted things and I assumed the culprit to be the most recent game I had downloaded, because I thought that I saw one of the same ads saved that had popped up in the game and the timing of this happening after a new app installed indicated it was this game.
I was annoyed that my phone had been exploited and deleted these pictures/videos, uninstalled the app and left a bad review explaining it saves ads on your phone.
Well I thought that was the end of it. Today I open my gallery and what do I see? Yep. More damn ads saved! Not so many this time though, there's about 4. So I realized that it wasn't the game at all, it is uninstalled and gone but the ads are still being saved. You could say I promptly made some "minor adjustments" to my review. :P
I decided to do a scan with AVG thinking that will find whats doing this but it didn't find any threats. So now I am seriously wondering how these ads are being downloaded onto my phone without my consent, using my data, storage space and cluttering my gallery up.
I think that the Wifi symbol, when present, should be right next to the 3G/E and not replace it. Most of the time I'm on 3G because of Sweden's excellent coverage however I'd still like to see whether I'm on 3G or EDGE when connected to a Wifi network.

The symbol appeared when I texted a friend who recently moved to China. He still has his same American Blackberry but no data plan, hence no BMMing, but his messages still appear in my BBM chat list with the same symbol. The conversation shows up under in my text messages like it normally would as well. What does this symbol mean? Does it have anything to do with him leaving the country/deactivating his data plan?

I was got my Nokia 97 today and I've noticed that when receiving calls, even from numbers I know are not private or blocked, the phone number doesn't appear on the screen or in the call log. The album for the band U2 spontaneously appeared on my iphone. I don't have them in my itunes and have never downloaded their album. When I try to delete it on my phone it doesn't allow me, and its not in my itunes. The album appears when I connect my phone to my PC. I want these songs deleted but I dont know how? I've tried taking all my songs off my phone, everything is removed but this U2 album remains?
