View 2 RepliesI wiped my 7750 trying to start clean since it's a used device. Now it's on JVM Error 505, usually no big deal. Just reload software with the app loader. That's not working. It connects fine every time, and acts like its going fine until it connects with the boot loader. Every time without fail it loses the connection to the device immediately after it appears to connect to the boot loader?

It always goes into driver installation mode. No matter how many times I have reinstalled the driver, it doesn't detect the playbook. WiFi connection works though. The USB connection fails.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI cannot connect to my mobile network. I recently got a bb 8800 which has been unlocked to all networks (checked this all categories disabled when I type MEPD).
I have a sim card with three (network) but it won't connect to the mobile network just displays SOS in the top right corner.
I have tried restarting/taking out battery/changing sim/leaving for hours but nothing. In manage connections it is set to orange when I try to scan for available networks it only displays orange, vodafone, O2 and t-mobile and all of these won't connect.
what to do I lost my old bb (and didn't have insurance silly me) so got a replacement sim from my network and managed to get this 8800 for a good price but that's no good if it's not connecting.
My playbook just decided not to connect to the wifi. I have my friends playbook right beside it, I checked to make sure all the settings were the same, yet it won't connect.
The bars are not illuminated.
When I goto to setup I can connect, and it appears to connect, then when I goto the main screen it is not connected. My playbook is a few months old (and I have connected to many Wifis) and I recently updated (mid-feb) to the new operating system, but it has been working fine until yesterday.
i got a new BB Playbook but cannot connect to my Laptop. I have upgraded to the latest software and my laptop has Windows 7 Service Pack 1 in it. Why is this so difficult? I have followed all steps i know and advised in the threads but still it's not straight-forward.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have developed a WIFI marketing unit which stores locallised content on a linux PC and serves it by WIFI.Basically, you connect to the unit by WIFI and surf the information, and there is no internet as such so you cant go onto Google or anything. The unit has a 3G connection simply for us to update content and download usage stats.It works fine with Android and Iphone etc, but seems to struggle with Blackberry's. We can use a WIFI key if needed but would prefer not to.Does anyone know the best way to do this, do we need a WIFI key and if so, is it WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc etc.Or can we remove the WIFI key completely.From what I've seen, it appears that the blackberry favours the mobile connection over WIFI to get to the web, whereas, if I turn off mobile connection, it then connects fiune through the WIFI and shows the content

View 2 Replies View RelatedOriginally I was having a problem where whenever I tried to load an application onto my device I would get an error saying that there was not enough room on the device. (Even though there was about 15GB left...)I decided to try a "Data Wipe" from the Settings menu.The Data Wipe seems to have worked a little too well and wipe everything on the device except the browser app. The device also does not connect to the PC anymore.Whenever I connect it to a computer the "BlackBerry Smartphone" driver installs but nothing else. The Device Manager does not recognize it either. Nor does the Desktop Manager.I have tried a couple different computer and nothing has worked.I have also tried to install the device update, but because none of the drivers will recognize the device I cannot install the update as the update tool does not recognize the device is plugged in.

I have checked with vodafone and they say that they have checked their systems and as per their system all my services are active.The have asked me to hard re-boot the phone by removing the battery and SIM card. But this has not solved the problem.Then they asked me to go to options -> advanced options -> host routing table ->register now. The screen then shows "Registration message sent". But nothing happens beyond that and I have not received any message from BB that my phone has been registered.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been facing this problem this the last couple of months.. whenever I travel and get into the roaming network, my phone doesnt connect to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) because of which i cannot use BBM or any other internet based application. As soon as i am in local network, it gets connected to BIS. I have tried everything..data service while roaming is on.. have switched off phone, removed sim and restarted. Last evening I visited Vodafone store, the guy put my sim in another blackberry device and it got connected to BIS. However its doesnt get connected on my device. He suggested me to do a data wipe which I did, still am unable to connect to BIS.

I got a new 8520 recently and on Monday. Hooked it up to my PC and transferred all my Address Book Contacts & Calendar to the phone using Desktop Manager.Next day I got the activation code from my company and put it in and hey presto I was getting emails. Next day I connected it back up to my PC to make some changes to my Calendar and after that the emails stopped.I had to get a new activation code and it was back online however the day after that after I connected again to Desktop Manager it stopped receiving emails again. Back receiving emails again after getting another activation code.Speaking to others in my company who have BB, they have said their contacts & calendar automatically update on the phone when they change it on their PC but it doesn't happen on mine.Any ideas to help me out? Where am I going wrong?After the first time I got the activation code and connected to the PC, it wouldn't sync the Address Book Contacts as it said it was set up for wireless synchronisation but I never set that up?

Upon receipt, the phone displayed an image of a usb connector and an itunes logo suggesting that I need to connect to itunes before use.Â
When I attach the phone to a toshiba satellite C50 laptop it connects and immediately disconnects with an audible tone. This connect/disconnect cycle repeats every second or so and never ends.Â
If I connect the phone whilst powered down, hold the power button and home button together for 10 secs and then hold the home button only to enter restore mode, the phone connects to itunes and I get the option to restore. However, the restore always fails.Â
I have tried connecting using two seperate USB cables - I am not sure if either is genuine. There is no effect.Â
I have tried disabling USB controllers individually within device manager. There is no effect.Â
I have tried different USB ports/ There is no effect.Â
While connected, the phone appears in the device manager intermittently, appearing and disappearing as the phone connects/disconnects.Â
The laptop is running windows 8.Â

I'm on 6.0.1, have factory reseted, and i am still have this problem.
It will say "Cannot connect to Camera" and then quit the camera app. Usually when I am switching from the regular to video camera mode, this is on the newest camera update. BUT, I was having camera stability problems before this.
White Nexus 6, 64gb, all stock but unlocked.
AND, after my factory reset, recommended from Motorola, Motorola Connect keeps quitting on me. The popup shows up and in fact, after I click OK, it shows up again. I had to uninstall it.
I'm gonna probably send it back to Motorola, and do the advanced Exchanged, but now it costs like $25 to do it?
AND, similarly related, prior to my watch's factory reset, at times, i had to SHOUT "OK GOOGLE" into my watch and still nothing would happen.
