How to with log into my blackberry id. Today i upgraded my bbm to 7 , and I have to sing into my blackberry id - i know my password and emil(its correct) but a message comes up saying 'Enter the user name associated with this smartphone?'
View 1 RepliesMy BB bold 9900 keeps asking me to login to BB id because there is a new sim card inserted. But thats not the case. My phone went out of battery and when I charged it again it asked me this question. Now I'm at my last attempt and I'm 100% sure that I gave the correct password the last 9 times.. I even logged in to BB Id site with that password. But if I screw it up this time everything will be deleted from my phone.

I noticed there is a small padalock symbol on the top right of the login screen.For two days I have tried to contact the seller, but have got no responce, I was thinking If i entered their email address into the "forgot password" option they could change the password, then provide me with that and their email address so I could then change both. But as I mentioned he or she is not responding to my emails.

It says the username is invalid and must be at least 4 characters, which it is. Also on the username field do i input my screen-name or email address? I have tried both but not working.

All seemed good after the Desktop manager data and application switch, then switched to the new PIN on my provider's Blackberry page and everything went smooth.I was able to login to the device Email setup (using Blackberry ID) then also to App World and all worked perfectly.A few hours later, and without any reason, now signing in to Blackberry ID through either the Email setup or App World fails with the error "Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account
I can login with the same BB ID and password on the Blackberry ID website, so the account is not locked out. Also, I am not typing the wrong password on the device, because when I do, I get a different error (the email and password combination is not that of a valid Blackberry iD).So apparently, this is an issue with the actual Blackberry ID authentication module. I read a lot of blogs and forums, and many people said it's due to the cached PIN (since I migrated data from my old Torch). I tried removing App World and re-installing a different version (including the Beta 3.0), still same problem occurs.
I am getting the following error message- "unable to login to your Blackberry ID account". My email address and password have been accepted (and I know they are correct I am signed in on your website.

Yesterday i did a hard reset and i updated ovi store app (it need to be upgraded if you want to download apps from there), but now it doesn't load if i login (without login it shows main page) but if i want to download (ex. gravity twitter client) i need to login, and i can't download.

I have had my BB Bold 9780 for 2 months, my app world logged in fine on the first day then I tried a week or so later to download some app's and it wouldnt let me log in! It will say Authenticating for a few seconds then the message An error has occurred. Pleas try again later. I have since tried basically every day with the same message appearing. I even made a new BB ID thinking it was just mine not working but have just had the same problem! Have deleted and re installed the app world and also done a software update on the full phone but still getting nowhere!
