i just updated my phone's software and was prompted to login to blackberry id again. i entered my information and it tells me that the user/password combination is incorrect. when i click 'forgot password' and it asks me for my email, it tells me that my email in invalid. however, when i login with the same credentials to blackberry id online, there are no problems..

My phone went out of battery and when I charged it again it asked me this question. Now I'm at my last attempt and I'm 100% sure that I gave the correct password the last 9 times.. I even logged in to BB Id site with that password. But if I screw it up this time everything will be deleted from my phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a refurbished Blackberry Bold 9700 from ebay, when I go the app word im asked for a username and password, I entered the same account details which i set up on teh Blackberry website, but they were not accepted. I noticed there is a small padalock symbol on the top right of the login screen.For two days I have tried to contact the seller, but have got no responce, I was thinking If i entered their email address into the "forgot password" option they could change the password, then provide me with that and their email address so I could then change both. But as I mentioned he or she is not responding to my emails.

It says the username is invalid and must be at least 4 characters, which it is. Also on the username field do i input my screen-name or email address? I have tried both but not working.

All seemed good after the Desktop manager data and application switch, then switched to the new PIN on my provider's Blackberry page and everything went smooth.I was able to login to the device Email setup (using Blackberry ID) then also to App World and all worked perfectly.A few hours later, and without any reason, now signing in to Blackberry ID through either the Email setup or App World fails with the error "Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account
I can login with the same BB ID and password on the Blackberry ID website, so the account is not locked out. Also, I am not typing the wrong password on the device, because when I do, I get a different error (the email and password combination is not that of a valid Blackberry iD).So apparently, this is an issue with the actual Blackberry ID authentication module. I read a lot of blogs and forums, and many people said it's due to the cached PIN (since I migrated data from my old Torch). I tried removing App World and re-installing a different version (including the Beta 3.0), still same problem occurs.

I've registered online with HTC sense, and got to the step where it asks me to login with my phone. I've gone to Setup on my phone where it said to go, saying that I should login when the HTC Sense screen comes up. However, no HTC Sense comes up during the setup?
I've also tried going to HTC Sense website through the phone's browser, but it just has the loading screen constantly cycling through? The phone is an HTC Desire, I'm on Orange (UK) and the OS is Android 2.2.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can navigate around my phone and use it just fine, until it randomly freezes. Also, I cannot for the life of me get in to disable the passcode. I know this is causing the problem because everything was working perfectly until I set the passcode lock. I can get as far as Settings > General > But it freezes when I click Passcode Lock, changes to blue and then nothing happens. I can get into other areas inside the General settings just not the ONE I need to.

The phone is asking for a username and password or all information will be lost. Is anyone able to assist, as I would have thought, it would have just required the SIM card pin number to be entered and then the Blackberry service to be activated on that SIM.We are based in India and the Indian SIM has never required a SIM code. I would like my bb8520 to function as any $20dollar phone would, which is to ring every 2 seconds instead of every 10 seconds.My phone rings, then 10 seconds later it rings again, by the time 10 more seconds have gone by, the caller either hangs up or is sent to voice mail. If you miss the first ring, hear the second but take a little while to find or reach your phone, you miss the call.
Is there any way I can decrease the time between rings?? I really hope someone has a solution besides contacting the carrier. The caller usually hears about 8 to 10 rings before it goes to voice mail, so it is not a carrier issue. The problem is for me, not for my caller.I have already changed the profiles every which way, you can only change the number of vibrations, but not the rings. My only solution so far has been to program a song as a ringtone so it lasts longer, but I prefer a regular ring ring. I'ts incredible that RIM hasn't been able to make this easy.
Aren't they supposed to be able to Disable/Suspend the PIN of the lost device so that the "new owner"can't even log onto BB network?
Now I am actually receiving BBM messages from the "new owner" asking me who I am.
Now my friend is wondering how she can compel her Provider into blocking PIN from BB servers so that the "new owner" can't access sensitive info she kept on phone.
I have lost my phone, how do I track it.
