BB Tour :: Enter Both Email Server?
Nov 25, 2011I use an email service with .pop incoming mail and smtpauth for outgoing. Since a recent "upgrade" I can only receive mail and there is nowhere to input my outgoing server info.

BB Tour :: Not Connect To Email Server?
Feb 18, 2012I can not get emails and set up only goes as far as "can not connect to server". Any ideas out there? Contacted tmobile, but they finally after 1 hour said it was hotmails fault (could not be validated), but I had email service with the same address last month

Jun 24, 2010This will be my last post in the 9630 forums, 'cause I have a new Bold 9650 coming tomorrow. I only found out about this trick today. Now that I've had my Tour for a year and fought with this trackball, now it won't engage! Today my husband just informd me, "JUST HIT THE ENTER KEY." Highlight an icon on the homescreen or any item in the menu and even in some apps, and click the enter (return) key -- it opens just like clicking on the trackball.

Apr 30, 2012I upgraded Facebook on my Tour, and now I can't log in to Facebook on my phone.
After the upgrade, I clicked my Facebook App and enter my email and password, and after clicking "login" I receive the message "We are unable to connect to the Facebook server at this time (0)".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App, and taken out an replaced the battery but it still won't work.

Oct 3, 2012I am unable to setup my gmail account because I don't see the 'I want to create or add an email address' option button in the email setup screen..The setup screen only displays 'I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server'
Is there a way to add the 'I want to create or add an email address' to the email setup screen.?Do I need to flash the os? how do I do that?

The embedded email app are deleting mails on my mail server, when I delete them in my phone. I am used to have a copy left on the mail server to be fetched when coming back to the office. I do not find any options in my x8 so I have a copy left on my server.

Jul 31, 2010Bank of America made changes to their server and thats when we started to have trouble. I just got off the phone with Bank Of America customer support and got no help at all they said Bank Of America didn't have any one to troubleshoot the mobile website. I told them that a lot of BlackBerry users were having trouble getting onto the mobile site and the guy said sorry we can't help you unless you are on a computer. That is just sorry of bank of America not to offer support.
We need to contact some one higher in the company to get some help so if you know some one please contact them this is retarded. Here is the latest when I try to log on to bank of America regular site / for security reasons your device can't access mobile banking. Two weeks ago I didn't have any trouble getting onto the Mobile site this is crazy.

May 10, 2011I am trying to add my Qwest email to my Blackberry Tour but I am not having any luck. I was on phone with Verizon and had me go through the email wizard - POP, email, password, mail server, user name - but no luck. The Verizon rep suggested that I set up a gmail to make it was not my phone - was able to set up a gmail account in 40 seconds - so it is not the phone - called Qwest customer service - the best they could do was get me a guy who handles DSL technical problems - in other words - useless. So, just checking here, if anyone has been able to find a solution to this problem.

May 13, 2012Email retrieving works okay, but after a few minutes some emails just disappear. Check all settings, changed push settings, resetup accout, rebooted, you name it I've tried it. But I still keep loosing emails. The server keeps all email, and other accounts are no problem.

Mar 14, 2011I have had a BB for two years which has worked perfectly with my personal email adress using my servers. I have upgraded to a 9780 and now I cannot set up my email. Setup on both BB and online keeps returning a message "can't find you mail server" and then sends me an email via that server to my PC. I have spoken to technical support who can say nothing other than,"there is nothing wrong with us!". However, my ISP has monitored his system and found no attempted access when I try to verify my mail servers. My email works perfectly for eveyone else, not my new blackberry.
