BB Tour :: Bluetooth Device Pairs But Does Not Connect?

Struggling with connecting Bluetooth devices to my Tour. Settings and symptoms bulleted below.
Blackberry Tour 9630, v5.0.0.975
- Bluetooth enabled
- Pairing completes and devices are shown under Paired Devices:
- Message: Connection to device fails
- On the Manage Connection screen, Bluetooth status is ON but not checked. Shows a dash "-". Should it be a check mark like shown for the network status?
- Blue status light is on but does not flash. May have to be connected to a device to flash but not sure.
I have tried just about everything from removing battery, rebooting to removing apps to no avail. Most everything except to wipe and reinstall. It could be a hardware defect but wanted to try other possible fixes before pursuing replacement.

i recently got the sensation xl and i absolutely love it, but today i tried sending a photo from it to my laptop and the two paired over bluetooth but were not connected and every attempt at sending something failed. i checked that the phone is discoverable, on my laptop i chose the option to always accept requests from it and well

I've been trying to pair my MAXX to my Parrot CK3000 car kit since the ICS update with no success. Every time the phone is near the car kit, the car kit asks "Please pair device" whether the phone is paired or not. If paired, it won't connect (tapping on the device icon on the phone (under Bluetooth) produces nothing). If I forget the device and repair, I get a "pairing successful" from the car kit, but no connections, even when I make a call from the phone.
Is there a way I can force connect or get the darn connection to occur? SmartActions is disabled, in case that makes a difference. Yes, it paired and worked properly under Gingerbread.

Might SII be waiting for passcode? But no opportunity to enter. Motorola btooth keyboard (part of same brand new boxed set as mouse) works fine. Mouse works fine with other devices.

I recently acquired an LG VX5600. I was able to pair it with an HP 6730s laptop just fine. I was even able to move data from Outlook to the phone. In further experimenting with it I installed the LG modem driver and synch'ed data with Outlook. Now, however, when I attempt to re-establish a Bluetooth connection I am unsuccessful. The phone discovers the computer and prompts for a passkey. I enter one, then enter the same key when prompted at the laptop. The computer says the devices are connected. When I look at the phone's Device Info in the Bluetooth Menu it says the devices are not connected.

In Hardware Manager, it shows Bluetooth Peripheral Device x(2) with yellow exclamation points. Every time it tries to install, it cannot find the driver files. Where can these be found?

I can make the phone connect by going to Manage Connections, and turning the Bluetooth selection OFF then immediately back ON.How do I set the phone so it always connects with vehicle Bluetooth everytime I get in? This is important.My Bluetooth device is a Parrot CK 3000 Evolution, built into the vehicle's sound system.

I have a unlocked Blackberry Tour 9630 that I purchased off ebay. I'm using it with a generic T-mobile internet plan, (someone told me that it would work).
However, whenever I open the browser I would get this error: "Your decivce does not currently have any Browser Configration Service Book entries, Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device".What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

I have paired with a PArrot hands free car kit. The pairing works fine. But every time I start the car and the car kit turns on, it takes very very long time before the iPhone detects and pair with the car kit. I am pretty sure that the problem is with the iPhone, as the pairing happens automatically and very fast if I go to the iPhone's settings menu and turn bluetooth off and on again.
how to speed up the iPhones recognition of the bluetooth device?

I am trying to connect to my Landrover handsfree I have use this before with other hansets without problem Just sometimes it connects automatically, but 90% of the time it fails, even when I try to connect manually I can not get a connection?

Is there a way to connect to a bluetooth device that requires a code to be entered? I am trying to connect to my Microsoft Sync radio so I can stream music. The MA detects the Sync but when I click on it it just says connection fails. The Sync requires that you enter a code so I assume this is the reason for the connection failure.

So I connect to a bluetooth device for my car to play music and provide directions. Driving mode somehow got turned on and is annoying as all heck. So basically I want it gone. It doesnt do anything for me, it just randomly resends a notification and interrupts my music and I have had it. How do I disable this terrible feature?

And apparently RIM is aware of this bad Bluetooth stack? This is what BlueAnt tech support is telling me and that it's BlackBerry's problem. I have a Tour running 5.0 and have never had an issue with any Bluetooth headset except the BlueAnt Z9i. My BlueAnt Z9i does seem to work fine on 4.7, but I'll chuck the Z9i in the can before I stick w/4.7 for any longer than testing purposes! BlueAnt said I should contact RIM for details on a solution; however, I see no reasonable means to directly contact RIM tech support?And since this is RIM's official support forums, unless I'm mistaken? Does anyone know anything about this faulty Bluetooth in 5.0 on the Tour and Storm 2 that causes random issues with Bluetooth headsets? Random issues are: Random beeps, buttons on headset being unresponsive, sound and mic not working, and hang-ups. These are all completely random issues the button unresponsiveness can be fixed by disconnecting the Bluetooth headset from the BlackBerry device via the BlackBerry device. And then the headset buttons will work again, enabling the headset to be powered down, etc This is of course a fix until it randomly happens again the next time it's paired to the Tour running 5.0!"As you know this is a specific issue with Blackberry tour (9630) and storm 2 phones using 5.0 OS, no updating of BlueAnt products will help as it's a fault with the phone." BlueAnt said "I believe It occurs on almost all Bluetooth devices within anything from one weeks to two months of pairing with a Blackberry tour using 5.0." BlueAnt said "Just to re-cap: the issues with the tour happen with all BlueAnt products: Q1, V1, Z9i etc And I've heard from consumers that called in it also occurs on Jabra's and Jawbones etc.We know that Blackberry know about the issue so if you contact them they should shed some light on it." I was reloading the OS and at some point it DC'd or something in the final stages of the installation, and it wont reconnect now....the operating system seems to be fine, but it has none of my stuff on it, how can i get it connect to reload my data?

I have a Nokia 2680 and I fully charged my bluetooth earpieces.On my phone, I set the Bluetooth on, gave my phone a name and selected phone's visibility to all.When I try to add a paired device to add the bluetooth, it gives me a message saying no device found.The bluetooth earpiece is right next to the phone. Can anyone help?

I've had problems connecting to any blue tooth aparatus. I've tried with a couple of headsets and then this week I had a problem connecting to the bluetooth in the Sonata I rented. The bluetooth will connect but almost immediately drop the bluetooth connection.

I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.

What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?

My problem is disconnecting my BlueAnt Bluetooth from my blackberry 9330 and connecting the Bluetooth to my blackberry 9350 However, I can't connect it to my 9350 which is my new phone because of the data that has been programmed into it from the 9330.

I have a tour running OS 5.0.484. I can get my Plantronics 520 headset to pair Fine with the Blackberry but when I try to make a call or get any sound to or from the headset it doesn't work. I've tried the headset on other phones and it works fine. I tried repairing, Pulling the battery, removing all the other profiles and then repairing the device. I've even tried upgrading the OS to .484 from .419 and nothing seems to work. I know the bluetooth has worked in the past just not sure how long it's been since it has stopped working.

I now have 3 programs that can reset my device - Quickpull, Quicklaunch and Meterberry.I am curious if they all do the same thing, or is one better than the other.I am definitely keeping QL and was wondering if I even need the other 2? I do like MB as it notifies you when your mem, battery etc is low.
