View 2 RepliesStruggling with connecting Bluetooth devices to my Tour. Settings and symptoms bulleted below.
Blackberry Tour 9630, v5.0.0.975
- Bluetooth enabled
- Pairing completes and devices are shown under Paired Devices:
- Message: Connection to device fails
- On the Manage Connection screen, Bluetooth status is ON but not checked. Shows a dash "-". Should it be a check mark like shown for the network status?
- Blue status light is on but does not flash. May have to be connected to a device to flash but not sure.
I have tried just about everything from removing battery, rebooting to removing apps to no avail. Most everything except to wipe and reinstall. It could be a hardware defect but wanted to try other possible fixes before pursuing replacement.
My phones bluetooth pairs with other devices but does not connect. How can i make it connect?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to pair my MAXX to my Parrot CK3000 car kit since the ICS update with no success. Every time the phone is near the car kit, the car kit asks "Please pair device" whether the phone is paired or not. If paired, it won't connect (tapping on the device icon on the phone (under Bluetooth) produces nothing). If I forget the device and repair, I get a "pairing successful" from the car kit, but no connections, even when I make a call from the phone.
Is there a way I can force connect or get the darn connection to occur? SmartActions is disabled, in case that makes a difference. Yes, it paired and worked properly under Gingerbread.
Might SII be waiting for passcode? But no opportunity to enter. Motorola btooth keyboard (part of same brand new boxed set as mouse) works fine. Mouse works fine with other devices.

We both have the same bluetooth settings, and the phones are visible to all. We can both connect to a laptop. When we search for available devices, the phones find eachother but then just say "Connecting". We can't seem to actually pair.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently acquired an LG VX5600. I was able to pair it with an HP 6730s laptop just fine. I was even able to move data from Outlook to the phone. In further experimenting with it I installed the LG modem driver and synch'ed data with Outlook. Now, however, when I attempt to re-establish a Bluetooth connection I am unsuccessful. The phone discovers the computer and prompts for a passkey. I enter one, then enter the same key when prompted at the laptop. The computer says the devices are connected. When I look at the phone's Device Info in the Bluetooth Menu it says the devices are not connected.

I can make the Jabra search for it but I have lost the option in my Sensation settings to "discover" a new handsfree device. It just sits there and times out. I go into my settings and get bluetooth on and it connects to the in car handsfree in my partners car but it can't find the jabra in my car.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy HTC sensation was working fine on ginger bread. I could (and on multiple occasion did normally ) connected my phone to PC (windows 7) and used HTC sync to tranfer data between the two. But then came the update of ICS, and once I did that HTC Sync does not pick up the phone when I connect it. I have checked in settings oh phone in Developers options > Debugging is enabled.
This is what I get

and after that
"Unable to find HTC Sync on your PC. Please make sure that HTC Sync is installed and opened on your computer. You can install HTC Sync from SD card by mounting it to your PC or you can download it from HTC Help Center . Note: for Windows only. "
I did a reinstall of HTC Sync (ver 3.2.20) from the internet and installed it from SD card.... nothing works.
How to download bluray digital copies on to the sensation. I have been trying for months to do it and I'm beginning to lose my patience.
I want to take advantage of the screen size and quality but I cant figure out how to get the digital copies on to it.
I'm just wandering if you can create photo albums on the Sensation XL.All my pictures are currently in the "All Photos" album

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.

1) Bought a bluetooth usb dongle for the PC.
2) Paired my phone with the PC.
Now on the phone it says "paired but not connected" and the PC reports that the "device driver was not successfully installed".
