May 2, 2012I intend to sell my iPhone and would like to know how to disassociate it from my apple ID and also how to remove all personal information from the device before I transfer it to the new owner.Is resetting it to factory setting helpful? Also, is there a way to protect my privacy before sending the device to the lab for fixing? Or do I need to manually remove all email accounts and personal apps?

Eight widget id values each time, looks like about nine times an hour, 24/7. Is there a way to stop this waste? Or at least keep it from pushing useful stuff out of the log buffers?

Mar 13, 2012I have a lock code on my iPhone 4 s & since i have just updated the software today to iso 5.1, I cant access the camera via this short cut. The camera icon is on the bottom right hand side (next to (Slide to unlock) but when I press it, it just bounces & does not open the camera. Huawei Nexus 6P :: Blocked Call List Quick Access - Search
Feb 12, 2016This question is not specific to the Nexus 6P, but that is the phone I carry. I add 2 or 3 phone numbers (telemarketers) to my blocked call list every week. When a telemarketer calls, I
(1) hang up,
(2) go to the call log,
(3) tap the call record to expand it,
(4) tap "call details", then
(5) select "block number."
That's all very simple.The issue is that now that I have dozens or hundreds of blocked numbers , when I miss a call, there's no easy way to see if the missed call was from a number on my blocked list. A missed call from a blocked number looks the same as a missed call from an un-blocked number (unless they're in my contact list). I can scroll through (but not search or sort) my blocked call list by
(1) opening phone app,
(2) tapping "Settings" in the primary menu, then
(3) tapping "Call Blocking."
This presents a list of all of the numbers that I've ever blocked, but I can't search it and I can't sort it.
in a perfect world, the Call Log would somehow show a flag for missed calls from blocked numbers so that I don't have to search the list to see if the number is blocked. In an even more perfect world, a tap on that number would take me to a detail page showing all the times that number has called and been blocked. Finally, the blocked number list would be both searchable and sortable. I think that most/all of this could be accomplished by a 3d party app - for which I'd gladly pay five bucks. There are lots of call blocking apps on the market, but they all appear to operate separately from the Android native call blocking function.

Aug 17, 2010My E71 has died a slow and painful death.Now I've read elsewhere on this forum that the E71 does not support charging via the onboard USB port however:
- My E71 is absolutely dead flat out of battery;
- My E71 is refusing to charge due to some inherant damage to both power charger and charging circuit (because it still won't charge on my Husband's charger);
- I have some very important information stored on the phone memory (not SD card) that I need to access and have no real way of doing so; and
- I have recently done a backup of the phone, but won't allow me to access the file without the phone connected.

May 30, 2010So i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

Apr 16, 2012To improve the security on my phone, I engaged the password feature. In trying to get back in my phone I must have entered the password incorrectly. When the maximum attempts had been used, the phone went through wiping and my phone was totally reset. My BBM listing and contact listing were all lost and even my BBM pin was changed.
