View 4 RepliesSo after using my Torch for a week or so, I'm starting to really miss my Bold 9700.Is it possible for me to simply put my ATT sim card from my Torch in my Bold 9700 and use the Bold seamlessly? My Bold is unlocked, but I'm worried about email settings/BBM working properly if I switch my sim card out of the Torch.
When I booted up my Bold with my Torch sim card 5 minutes ago I got a txt message saying erroneous number or something to that degree, and BBM attempted to setup a new profile.Do I need to use the device switch wizard?
Every time Iam on phone it keeps switching between handset and headset auto and very fast so it keeps cutting every second I installed new bbm .65 everythink working fine then I mistakely downloaded .57 cancelled it when I rebooted phone no bbm, so I reinstalled .65 bbm and it was really laggy and slow so I reinstalled it again and now that is happening to my phone?

View 1 Replies View Relatedall buttons freeze completely. this includes keyboard, but also they top buttons etc. only screen is still functional. while in any application (email, 3rd party app or similar) the phone auto switches to the txt message window. frequency is between 5 sec and 30, randomly. I have checked and the phone does not appear to have been wet (indicatortors are white) and have rebooted it several times. both with standard function, but also with 3rd party programme

At the same time I received the new Torch I want to break with my company's enterprise server. However when I moved data it also moved the company's email account over also. In the new 9850, how can I break from the enterprise server and delete that email account on the new phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAT&T is telling me that I can't switch the SIM From my iPhone 4 into another smartphone because the data plans are different. I as hoping to use a SIM card adapter and pick up a Captivate or a future Android release and just switch back and forth as I wanted, just swapping the SIM in whichever phone I wanted to use.
From what the AT&T rep has told me, if I do that I will lose my iPhone data plan when the SIM is put into a non iPhone. Is this accurate? If you have an iPhone that's basically the only phone you can use unless you want to screw up your plan?
Any advice on how I could accomplish doing what I want here, using an iPhone 4 and another smartphone with the same SIM just at different times?
My bb has been switching itself off and on. And I notice it does that only when subscription is on it and it is being charged. But when it is connected to a charger and subscription is not on it, it doesn't really do it. What could be the problem? I have flashed it, I have changed the battery all to no avail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this new LG G3 about 1 month now and for some reason, play store is all in spanish and then my chrome search show me yahoo.mx.
I have no clue why because I'm in Canada. So once a week I have to disable the WIFI and Data, then clear the cache for playstore and playstore service. Then re-activate WIFI and Data, then its all good for 1 week.
my phone keeps on switching from 3G to 2G and when ever it does that it took a while before the network comes back and i cant lock it to 2G permanently.

after updating the phone to kitkat 4.4.4

the very next day, the phone goes off. i left it to charge overnight, of which it only showed a little lightening bolt, with an empty battery which blinks about the same time as red light that shows when the phone is plugged to the charger up till the next morning when i woke up
Â
And all attempts at switching on as failed. as i have tried holding down the power button at the same time as the volume down button and also tried the little red button next to the Sim slot. the phone doesn't vibrate or switch on

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have resisted getting a smartphone for years. I use the phone for calls and texts and didn't need anything else. But finally, I had to join the new world. Now, I have a work phone that is an iPhone and I haven't really got on with that. One of the problems is that it arbitrarily switches on the voice function or phones someone or switches on music. This is just as it moves around. Drives me nuts!
So I finally bought a Galaxy S5 and I am trying to get used to the size and I am loving the phone and it is all good. Until this morning, when my brand new Galaxy switched the music on by itself. I am so unhappy I can't even say how much. I was so looking forward to having this fab new phone and now I don't know what to do. Do I honestly have to leave the phone at home on a flat surface, because if I put it in my pocket and so much as move a little, then it will simply switch itself on?
I will have to admit that I am using the iPhone earphones because my ear shape simply cannot take the Samsung ones and I can't currently afford to get Bose earbuds.
Went to an at&t store today and played with the 9800. I had been excited about it, but had never used a touch screen before. Wow, forgetting any issues that “may” exist with OS or the device itself which others have more than covered enough elsewhere in this forum, I was somewhat disappointed. As implied, it’s not the device or OS, but the use of a touch screen vs. my Bold 9000 that I love so much (and thus I’d probably have the same view with switching to any other touch screen device, BB or not). (However, the 9000 keyboard still IMHO exceeds all others including the 9800, which I found to be small, even for my small fingers).
But for those of you who have switched from similar devices to a touch screen, how was the experience? How long did it take to get fully used to a touch screen etc.? One thing I anticipate missing - believe it or not - is the ease of getting around on my Bold. Now I have PocketDay and have 2 short cuts assigned to every key. Not sure if I’ll have the same abilities on the 9800 etc.
Just last week I got myself a new nokia e72, the first day itself- i started experiencing problems-the thing started to reset itself numerous times. I decided to do a firmware upgrade and still NO CHANGE! The next day it started to spontaneously switch off without no reason. I completely formated both my memory card and phone memory and still the same problem! I gota say, it's a piece of junk! The thing resets itself and likes to off itself! Anybody experiencing similar problems? What a waste of money!

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I'm on sprint and my s5 will switch the time forward 2 hours every day at random times of the day. I have tried manually setting my time but then my text messages get weird time stamps and don't come in correctly . The only solution I have found is resetting the phone but that's annoying and time consuming.
View 4 Replies View Relatedsince yesterday I'm owner of N85-1 phone, so I was very happy when I saw the device (it is a present), but today I've become very sad.
So, my main PROMLEM is very strange:
Last evening I used the phone for probably 30 min. conversation, than I set the alarm clock in order to wake up this morning and go to work. But I overslept and a thought that I did not hear the phone alarm.
My surprise was huge when I tried to switch on the phone, I entered the PIN code of the card and there was the alarm active whit the usual two options - snooze or switch it of. No matter what I choose the phone is blocking and I can't use it at all. The only way to do something is to remove the battery, so I've done it this morning for at least 20 times and the result is the same every time - the phone is blocked and I can't do anything to use the phone.
In the same time when I dial my number from other phone I'm hearing the "free" signal, but the N85 is not ringing at all.
(Posted incorrectly in the 9780 forum, so posting here)Blackberry 9700v5.0.0.296 (Platform 5.1.0.83) FolksHave started having this very weird problem, make that problems.#1: I get a call.. i start the call.. phone keeps on switching between headset and handset mode. Cannot have a conversation at all. I have to use the headset.I tried manually selecting handset, speakerphone but nothing. I have to resort to using the headset, then it stays in headset mode.#2: I remove the headet pin, re-insert it. This somehow activates music. I have to always go in and stop it.I had this problem a few months ago and then a few days ago. Both the times i managed to make it go away. I believe I did the following:- Headset in- Power down- Remove battery- Power back up- Remove headsetMy guess is that sometime when you remove the headset, it does not understand it 'cleanly'. First time (few months ago) I was just listening to music via headset. 2nd time (few days ago) I had it connected via my AUX connection to the car stereo.
