My facebook application does not work on my phone. I used to use my phone in canada with bell, but now i am living in the uk on a different provider. I went to them to ask why it wasnt working and if they could fix it. we tried everything and it still didnt work. The employee told me that the facebook widget was still attached to my old provider and that i would need to call them to have them remove me..
View 1 RepliesEver since I downloaded the latest version of the Facebook for Blackberry app through App World, I get the following error message: "Unable to connect to the Facebook server (1400)". I have tried numerous times to pull the battery as well as uninstall / re-install the app and no luck. I also tried to download the app via the web, but still have the same problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was using my Facebook app on my device up until last week without any problems, until one day it just seemed to crash :/ I uninstalled the app with the intention of reinstalling it to see if this would help, or even see if an upgrade was available.However, it wont let me reinstall the app, and when I try to reinstall through my browser, it says that my device doesn't support it! Finding using Facebook on the browser all the time really slow and annoying so would really like some help as to how to get my app back and working again!

Whoever, whenever I receive an inbox message on FB, then I receive the notification for it. I tried doing a battery pull, I logged off then on, I checked for updates. But it still doesn't receive any notifications.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAs of about a week ago, I have started receiving only about 10% of the messages and notifications from facebook that I used to receive to my Blackberry. 90% of the messages and notifications now just get stuck in facebook and I only see them when I log into fb through my laptop.
As of the last week, every once in a while I will receive some facebook message or notification to my blackberry, but the majority don't make it to my Blackberry and instead just stay on facebook until I open the site on my laptop.
I am sure this has been posted. I've searched for a few posts but haven't yet been able to find a solution.I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 with AT&T and just got the software update. I can only use the Facebook App when i am connected to WiFi. My BBM says (pending) when i add someone, and it doesnt show that i have added them on their phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently got a torch 9800, but when I try to access Twitter it comes up with "java.lang.ClassCast Exception" and when I try to log into facebook it says "we cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100)" Other applications that use the internet seem to work ok. It's just these two. I have tried deleting them, but when I go to install them, it asks if I want to reinstall, so it obviously didn't get rid of them completely. I even did a hard restart after deleting, by taking the battery out whilst still on, and not reinserting it for about a minute.

#1: i can't get the facebook app!!! i downloaded it once, had to uninstall it, and now i can't re download the app. i contacted nokia and they didn't do anything about, yet they got my email. i tried completely resetting the phone, making a new ovi account, trying to download it on the pc, and nothing works. can someone please send the app to ? thank you

Now, what i want is to fix that application, since i want to use that application compare than using the browser button. If i connect with my sister account for example, it does work. sometimes it talks about 501 error, but i've tried to reboot the bb, erase the cache and even reinstall the app several times and it keeps not working. Sometimes it says that i'm already connected but then there is no one connected. i've checked on the facebook.com site from the pc but there appear a lot of people online so i don't understand what happens to my chat on bb.
