How do I synchronise my email between BB Torch 9800 and my pc? Wireless reconciliation does not work if you do not have BB Enterprise. The manual refers to the desk top software but nowhere can I find how to sync my email.I have the latest version 6 OS installed!

Contacts are auto-sync and now I have the same contact twice although in the "setting" "setup" I have untick the sync contact box I just do not understand why does that happen. I have use blackberry before but none of these happen this is so un-cool!
View 6 Replies View RelatedFrom time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?
I bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?

After a short time on an Android device (which I quickly got rid of) I am now back on a BlackBerry. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
I have a new BES email so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How do I transfer my browser bookmarks from my old BES email? I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I have tried to restore just the browser bookmarks using the device restore select device data and settings, but the bookmarks don't come back.

I use this email for business purposes and receive many different emails everyday, therefore using folders with my email account is crucial.This is not a problem on my mac as I have plenty of folders created, however I cannot sync them onto my iphone, therefore whenever I want to find a message on my iphone I have to search through tons of emails before I reach the correct one.I understand that there are certain apps that can facilitate email folders such as emailganizer and web outlook app, however as im sure you are aware they do not accept pop email accounts! I was able to setup my Gmail account seamlessly using the email wizard, however I have noticed that the E71 will not sync my emails automatically. I have to turn the device on and off and it will then synch with my Gmail.
When looking at the connection log when "Send and Receive" is set to "Soonest", the device would not sync emails throughout the day. I then changed "Send and Receive" to Every Hour and the log would show that the device would sync successfully every hour, but still it does not show that their is new email in my mailbox. I have to manually select "Sync" for new email to appear.
Any ideas about how I can fix this?I checked and according to Nokia Software update, I have the latest firmware for my model E71, I have a E71-2, code 056937 with 300.21.012. .I noticed the same issue with the E61i and was hoping that this would be resolved with the E71.

I would like to mark the messages as sent/responded to.Also, If I delete a message on my BB or my computer I want it deleted on both devices.I want to be able to respond to email using my BB and my Comcast email. I guess it is something to do with the POP?This seems super silly and quite a bit of extra work to double delete items, or to re-read messages. Every other phone does not seem to have an issue, not even my 5 year old phone. Is the issue a BB thing?
