one minute working fine then all of a sudden turned off and wont turn back on,no flashing lights wont connect to laptop to desk top manager or anything completely dead.iv taken the battery out and stuck it on charge still nothing,left it on charge for hours and still nothing.seems theres no life in it at all..

I thought nothing of it as it has done this loads before so i took the battery out and put it back in and it worked. I then went to get a drink and when i returned my phone was off. It wont turn back on no matter what i do. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, i have tried charging it and i have tried leaving the battery out for a while before putting it back in and nothing. I even tried the 4h15m process and it didn't work. I woke up this morning and it still won't do anything.

I was using my iphone 4 today when it just shutoff, I tried turning it back on by using the power button. I tried turning it back on by holding down the sleep button and the main button at the same time for over 30 sec.I had it fully charged but it still wont turn on. I put it on the charger for about an hour and it still wont turn on. I havent had any problems liek this on my iphone before. I havent dropped it, I havent jailbroken it. I have tried DFU.

I was using my iPhone 4 today when I went to the kicthen to get somthing to drink and upon returning to my phone I noticed the screen wouldn't turn on. Now the battery wasn't dead because it had a 80% charge left so it has to be either a OS failure or a hardware failure and when I switched the ringer button back and forth it wouldnt viberate. I tried conecting it to iTunes to do a reset but I can't because the power button is broken (which happened suddenly months ago but didn't fix it, which I regret now) so now I'm stuck with a faulty iPhone and I can't do anything to fix it. I don't have apple care for it either, which I also regret.

My phone has been shutting off and coming back on randomly the past couple of days. I took it into my carrier today and they hooked it up to the computer and said that I just needed to update the software. This was fine, but by the time I got home my phone had shut off and I cannot get it to turn back on to do the updates.I have been searching these forums for hours and the only solution I can find is to wipe the phone clean and put a new OS on it. I have downloaded a new OS and I have tried several times to put in onto the phone but I can't get it to work. I have opened the application loader, but when it gets to the device application selection screen, there are no options for me to select. I tried to go into my files and choose the OS that I just downloaded but an error pops up (XML syntax error on line1) to be specific.

I have the Torch (9800) OS version: 6.0.0.668.I've had it for just over a year without problems but recently it will freeze to the point where I have to do a battery pull because it won't resolve the issue otherwise. Even then sometimes it doesn't come back on. It will slowly flash red (LED light) and the screen will remain black.It's done this twice where it won't turn back on at all. Eventually it does but the last time it did this, it didn't work for 2 days before coming back on (of it's own accord). I updated the software when it finally came back on as I was told it could be a software issue so I now have the OS version stated at the top of this message as opposed to 6.0.0.600.
