The dot on the "i" of my blackberry is not displayed if I type. I cant therefore not search for anything, either contacts or mails/messages if the word contains "i". Is there a setting i can change? I rebooted the phone and it's still not working?
View 2 RepliesWhen I receive an incoming call on my BB Torch from someone in my addressbook, only the number is displayed in my screen. When I look afterwards in the received calls call history, the name is there again.It is not all the time, one hour later the name might be mentioned again. A very annoying problem.This problem occurs at the sames time with the problem that I have connecting via Bluetooth with my car. The call history is not shown properly. I see a blur of digits eg: 496496496........instead of names and real telephonenumbers.

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust got a new 5230.Downloaded Ovi map 3.04 and installed on phone.Downloaded Ovi Suite for PC.Opened Ovi Suite adn downlaoded a map or my province, and the UK Voice w/ street names.Downlaod was successful adn I got messege that it was transfered to phone. Ovi Suite continually claims that The map is installed on my phone.I stqrt Ovi Maps on my phone, and after acquiring a strong signal, all i get is my co-ordinates, but no map is displayed. No terrain map, no satellite map, no street map.I've installed the app to phone two more times, and re-download and installed the map to my phone more than twice. Still the same problem.I've tried with both A-GPS and phone-only GPS. All signals from cell provider are very strong.Am i missing something, or is my phone having a brain-**bleep**? Having cell-independant GPS is what led me to grab this phone, as I'm out of cell range often. This is getting very frustrating and I'm starting to pull my hair out.

Everything is ok in History of calls, it shows the correct names also when im calling or texting, but when I go to Contacts everyone is called (bez nazwy) which means in PL (no name). It happened one day that I noticed all contacts changed to the no name ones, so I tried to format card and phone memory, restore defult settings. After it I cant install Ogi Store on my phone :/ but the error with Contacts came back. Numbers saved on SIM works properly only those on the card memory seems to have no name.

I did a couple searches but I didn't find my problem. I'm sure there's a thread and sorry if there is as SMS problems with the 9700 are relatively common.
I'm getting some problems when i get calls on my phone. It doesn't show the number from address book rather display the number as an unknown number. And then if i try to check the call history, it doesn't show up, instead it shows all the contacts from address book. I'm getting this problem quite frequently now, like 2-3 times a day and need to reboot the device in order to see my call history.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've noticed the the device memory bar on the storage scene in settings is displaying the wrong information. The bar shows i have used 3/4 of my internal memory, mainly as app. However the amount shown as available on the same screen shows 9.3MB. Also in device facts (under the diagnostics menu ) it shows that i have only used 2.3GB. I think the problem comes from my use of the sd storage feature on google music. The music files are definitely saved on the sd card. The phone seems to recognise this itis just this status bar that is misreading the information. Or should i just ignore it?

However, if I miss the call, then in the missed calls list it's displayed properly. It's also displayed properly if I call them and if I receive/send a message from them.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had the atrix since it came out with a 32gig sd card, I store all my videos/pictures on it. I have never had any problems. After the 4.1.57 updated I have been having issues. Im not blaming the update I dont know what is wrong but its somthing I did look into.I record Videos, and then my phone will not play themback, It will show a preview of the video but then say "file cannot be displayed or played". Sometimes it lets me watch the video at first, but then the next time i go to watch it I get that error and its for good i wont be allowed to watch the video again.As for the pictures, Ill take pictures and it will show a preview of the picture but it wont let me click it and view it . I do not get a error msg with the pictures, It just simply wont let me view the pictures. Transfer those files that i cant watch or view to my computer, and my computer says it doesnt reconize the file format. But then when I look at the file type of that file that isnt working with a file that does work on my computer, its the same exact file fromat so i dont understand that?
I at first did pull out my sdcard/sim/battery didnt solve the problem. so i did a factory reset and that still didnt fix the problem. I also tried to switch the videos/picture that isnt working onto my external space on my phone and I get the same deal. Im also allowed to play music just find off my sdcard, its only videos/pictures my phone is having problems with. This is very frusterating since I use my camera almost everyday, and my sons first birthday is coming up this saturday and i wanted to record it all and burn it to a dvd but that is starting to seem unlikey and this is very frusterating. I called motorola and Im told to call back monday to talk to a higher level tech when there open.
Can anyone identify the apps on the displayed screen? Obviously some I know, like Hermes, Firefox etc, but what's the facebook icon like a beer bottle for instance? I don't recognise the vast majority of them.
