Nokia Lumia :: 920 Screen Size And Content Displayed?
Nov 16, 2012My friend has a Samsung Flash Windows 7.5 phone which is 480x800 resolution with a 3.5" screen. This shows 9 rows of tiles, 9 rows of missed calls. I have my new Nokia Lumina 920 with 1280x768 resolution which is approximately 300% more than Samsung Flash. It shows just barely 6 rows of tiles and 6 rows of missed calls. Email text is so big that I need to scroll a lot in my Nokia 920.Eventhough Nokia 920 screen size is so huge, the content which it displays is only 70% of what a much smaller device currently shows. This really annoys me. Whats the use of a bigger screen and a better resolution when it can't show more as content. Forget making the font size larger, you will see only 4 or 5 lines in any of the lists.
I really hope Microsoft releases a update to enable us reduce the font size still further and read more from the Lumina. I want a quick glimpse of all new emails with minimal scroll. Compare any other phone - iPhone, Samsung Flash Windows phone, Motorola Atrix, etc., all show much more number of emails than the Windows in Nokia 920.

Jun 27, 2012As of yesterday afternoon, I can no longer view the content of email on my iPhone. I can view it on my iPad and my iMac. When I open the email, there's no content. Contact and subject appear, but zero content. It seems to be chronically "checking for email" at the bottom of the screen, whereas the email downloading indicator at the top has finished. This issue is across all three of my email accounts.

Oct 3, 2012I'm having trouble with the standard email application. When I get new emails into my account, the number of unread emails appears next to the email address (account name). I expand folders to see where the emails are, but the unread numbers don't appear next to the folders. For example, the account may say it has 4 unread emails, but when I expand to the folders view, there are no indicators. This is a Gmail IMAP account. When I use the GMail app, the number of unread emails shows correctly in the folders(labels) view.
How do I get the unread emails to show correctly in the folders view of the standard email app?

Feb 9, 2012I have a very annoying and weird problem with my Blackberry.I got my new Curve 9360 last week and set up my 2 hotmail emails on it. I used to have an old Curve before and used the same emails on it. When I started using the emails I realised that whenever I reply from my Blackberry device the email content duplicates itself so the person on the other end receives the original content*2. So for example if I reply with word "test" and message will arrive as "testtest". Would you know how to fix it? I have tried everything - removed and added back my email accounts, wiped all the data and installed everything back again, deleted my blackberry ID and created a new one and even exchanged the blackberry device itself.

Jun 15, 2012I received an email today on my iphone that is from "No Sender", it says "No Subject", and it says "This message has no content." The strangest part is it's dated 12/31/69. When I go to the edit screen this particular email does not have a "dot" for me to tap, the email won't open, and subsequently I cannot remove it. I went into my Gmail account on my laptop and this email doesn't show up there in any folder.

When updating my apps in the App Store I no longer see the app's icon and all related fotos within the updated app.
The app is updated and works fine.
All apps updated before 01DEC2014 are displayed properly in the App Store.
On my iPad running on iOS 8.1.1 everything is fine, too.

1. without songs navigation on time
2. With songs navigation on time with some text which has been added to the file.
