I found this out last night, I think from some BB Tip site, if you are in an app and usually you have to push BB Menu button and scroll up to Switch Application. Try this hold down the BB Menu and it auto goes to the same place as Swith Application.
View 7 RepliesLast week I purchased the new Torch 9810, a couple of days of use the trackpad started malfunctioning and well...for the first time in many years I received a defective device, yesterday I managed to change it for a new one without any problems.
As soon as I got home, I did the device switch operation with my BB desktop software without any problems too, but today I noticed something was diferent, I don't have or find anywhere in my phone the OS 7 digital compass. I know it's no big deal, but it was a nice app and would really like to install it on my new BB. I have surfed among the web and apps world and all I find are compasses for purchase, and it came free in this BB device.
where can I recover my free digital compass for BB OS 7?
Just slightly but I can notice it. Iphone 4. Not using it more or anything. Any possible causes?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSwitching between apps is something I do a lot. I double tap the home button and then select the app that's one before last many times. Is there a way to do this much faster?
Maybe some way to use two fingers to flip between these 2 apps? It would be a huge productivity boost for me.
My wife's Galaxy S6 is only a 4 months old and for the last 2 months she has been dealing with this issue of her phone just randomly switching between apps and programs. For example her phone will just be sitting on the table and we hear a clicking noise (the same noise like when you text) so I look we look at phone and it's switching between messages, pandora, phone list etc. there is not set of apps/programs it chooses them at random. I tried shutting down some apps and no good. I called AT&T and they had me do a factory reset of the phone, no good.
Took it to the store and they sent us to the service center for replacement. But when we got there they said there is water damage to the phone so we are SOL. She works at a hospital and when she comes home, all she does is wipe down the phone with a baby wipe and that's it. I tried to explain to them I understand where they are coming from but this is clearly a software issue. They are refusing. I told them I work in the IT field and again it's clearly software issue or a lemon device, but they are hanging their hats on water damage of course.
So my question to you all, is there some way to roll back the software or to jailbreak it to fix this issue?
I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought a Torch 2 (9180) phone with OS 7 from a retailer in India. However, I have been facing some problems from day 1 of the purchase. A summary of some problems is as under:
1. On clicking power off icon or pressing power off button, the phone does not shut down completely. It goes in somewhat standby mode and by just pressing the power button again, the phone starts as if only the screen had been turned off, i.e. the processor still keeps on working. Is it normal for OS 7 users because a friend has 9800 with OS 6 and it switches off completely on pressing the power off button and boots again when the power button is kept pressed? Also, if this is true for OS 7, then is battery pull the only way to completely switch off the phone?
2. The screen has stopped rotating automatically without disabling it!
3. The led light (white coloured) keeps on continuously flashing and drains a lot of battery life. I am unable to switch it off.
4. The phone has started hanging/freezing for 10-20 seconds each time I want to use any app.
Sine Tuesday night when my battery died, the Wifi on my device doesnt work (I left the app world open which ran it down). Whenever I switch the wifi on, it says that it is unable to turn the wifi on. I left the battery out for half an hour on THursday night which seems to have worked for a while, but the problem has manifested itself again. I have done a security wipe and re-installed the latest software.I somehow dont think that it's hardware related otherwise it wouldnt work, would it? My blackberry maps also dont work and it says that the GPS is unavailable. Can it have something to do with the Wifi?We have 3G where I live most of the time, but the Wifi is just so much faster using my broadband connection at home. I contacted bb support and have not received any assistance. My carrier seems to think that it's hardware related, but I dont think so.

I have tried going in the app and then clicking "close" in the menu, the end call key and nothing seems to work. Some applications have the word "exit" on their menus and that seems to do the trick for some and but not all.

I've tried the SIM card in another BB and it works fine in there. I've had it charging both with and without the SIM in for a good few hours and no joy. I have had a recurring issue with my screen not wanting to change orientation when I rotate the phone. This is especially frustrating since the portrait keyboard is difficulty for me to use. I have tried resets, battery pulls and most recently a security wipe. While the phone will work properly at first, the problem eventually recurs. I am assuming that I may have a faulty accelerometer. Is there a test that can confirm if this is the case?

Very frustrating! This happened once before but corrected itself. Is there a setting that can changed? My carrier, Bell Mobility, was of no assistance. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website.
