I upgraded my App world a few months ago, everything seemed fine, re-booted phone and it seems to be wiped off, cannot seem to locate it anywhere! Same happened to Facebook, downloaded new version today, message came up that it was unsuccessful and has now disappeared, I have re-booted phone and have had no luck in restoring either of them..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been on numerous forums and I've asked the Facebook community and even tried tech support with Samsung, all to no avail.
So here's my issue:
- Photos taken with the Galaxy S5 are a brilliant 5312x2988px in resolution.
- Uploading pictures with the Facebook app on my S5 makes the 5312x2988px pictures 960x540px on facebook.
- Uploading pictures with my previous Android device with an 8 megapixel camera were uploaded as 2048x1154px, much higher than the S5.
I can't seem to find any settings anywhere that are causing my high definition pictures to upload at a much worse quality to facebook. I don't expect to get full resolution, but I expect to at least be able to achieve the same upload resolution that my previous phone was getting.
I'm at the point where I don't even want to upload photos to facebook anymore because the quality is so bad compared to the original photo I took.
I just updated BB6 and lost much valuable data on sever apps I use for tracking my medical informaiton. For a diabetic loosing my glucose records is dangerous. I use Glucose Tracker and now not only is the data gone but I must buy the pass code again. The same goes for tracking my weight and my blood pressure. If I had known I might lose that data I could have made provisions or not have updated the system.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just had trouble today with my torch, all of a sudden my incoming call audio does not work if it's handset mode but if it's in speaker mode I can hear the caller but audio transmit is not possible, the person at the other side cannot hear me when the phone is in speaker mode, i have to put into handset mode but in any case, there is obvious problem on the receiving/outgoing side.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I lose service for any length of time the phone appears to just give searching for it. I have to go into manage connections and disable/enable Mobile Connections and get back service almost immediately.
As not answering a call could cost me my job it would be pretty handy to resolve this.
I am on 7.0.0 Bundle 2290 and I only noticed this after the last couple of OS updates.
Obviously a reboot/battery pull resolves the issue temporarily but the next time I suffer an extended loss of service then it recurs.
Yesterday night, i updated my OS in my Torch 9800, it goes in 4 steps
1* backup
2* download
3* install
4* restore
During 4th step (restore), my PC has frozen, half my data is not restored... i miss more than 200 contacts (and other stuffs).Do you know where the BB Software does the backup and store the backup file ? There should be a way to get the backup files to restore at least my contacts but how ?
Had my Torch for 8 months. All of a sudden, battery bar shows quick power loss; by noon I am down to about 55%.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe problem started when I updated my os 7 on my torch 9810 to the newer version. When I went to update my apps I signed in just fine. A few weeks later I tried to download a new app but the app world would say that their was a problem with the current session and to login to continue but the login screen doesn't come up. I can sign in via my phone browser and everything but it doesn't show me the apps that I have installed or unistalled.
I search online for ways to rectify this problem I even wiped my phone but when I went I updated the os again the same thing happened again. So now I'm just desperate can I fix this problem or do I need to buy a new phone?
