View 1 RepliesI've been trying to delete 2 accounts off of my Blackberry Torch. When I go into setup and press the email accounts icon, it doesn't do anything, I can't even get into the next screen.

View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently switched out a blackberry torch for another blackberry torch. So I did the set up but my email won't set up. I touch "Email Set-Up" and it states a new device has been detected. Move your email accounts to receive email on my new device. I'll need to type in my password and at least one account needs to be moved. Then I touch "Move Email Accounts" type in my password and touch continue, it states my password has been successfully validated, but I still cannot receive or send emails. I did a battery pull, sent my service books, and register my phone! I don't have a back up of my account.

Prior to upgrading my OS to 6.0, the sender would automatically default to the email account I am composing my email from. After the upgrade, now I have to manually select the email address from the "Send Using" drop-down. It defaults to [Default] and not hello@hotmail.com. This is just an added step that is tedious when I am sending out emails from different accounts.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI wiped my phone (don't ask!) and although most previous set ups were still there and reactivatable (if that's a word) I can't get my email settings back. Both email accounts are there, but when I try to verify I get the message ' Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again.' I do not have the option available to delete the accounts and start again either - so completely stuck. I am using the correct passwords for the email accounts.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch on which I currently have 4 seperate e mail accounts. I travel fairly frequently between 3 countries each of which I have a local sim card for and a BB data plan. Normally when I travel and switch the sin card I simply enter setup select e mail and enter the appropriate password for each of my accounts then hit "activate" This has always worked perfectly. I have just changed my sim and once again all my e mail accounts are listed. However after entering all the passwords the activate button will not repsond and indeed is shaded as if it is unavailable. If I select verify for any of the passwords I get a message "Sorry, unable to continue your session. log in again" I have rebooted the phone numerous times with no difference.

I am using BB Torch 9800, the problem which I am facing is when I am trying to open the Email Accounts under Setup, I am unable to open this. I have successfully created my BB Account onto the Carrier Site and added the Email IDs these are reflected onto the device but as I am unable to open Email Accounts under Setup I am unable to Edit or Delete the Email Accounts which I don't won't on this Handle. Every time the Modifications have to be done by going to the Carrier website.

Contacts are auto-sync and now I have the same contact twice although in the "setting" "setup" I have untick the sync contact box I just do not understand why does that happen. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a new Blackberry Torch 9800 that was issued to me by my company. Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.
When I go to activate my emails (4) and hit the Verify button. It loads to a new screen and says "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again." I have done that about 10 times and isn't working.

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?

I am having email problems. I have several email accounts. I receive email on all of them, but can't send on all of them. Not even a reply. The email accounts that work are gmail and [URL]The accounts that don't send are: 1 account hosted by GoDaddy, and a few accounts on my 2 domains [URL] and [URL] all of these accounts work fine on my laptop via outlook 2007. The place that houses my 2 domains said they don't know why I am having this problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my black berry has worked fine with one email account for about a year, but for about 2 months i've been trying to add two new email accounts. they're both gmail. so i tried the gmail app and it says " this site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you b your service provider." I did that and copy and pasted the link into the browser and it said the exact same thing. I then went to the settings> manage internet email and it says " We apologize, there was an error trying to access the service. Try again" The try again was a highlighted as a hyper link. When i clicked on that it took me to the Web2go website. the Browser, internet, and other apps seem to work fine. just not this?
