Sep 21, 2011My blackberry cant update any of its applications when I type in my password and error message comes up. I reset my password but it still doesn't work.

Sep 7, 2011I have only had my blackberry for a week but everytime i try and log into my applications, i put my email address in and pass word but it brings up an error message "an error has occurred.Please try again later" . No matter how many times i try again it will not let me log in.

Sep 30, 2011I have the torch 9800 and whenever I connect it to my computer and use the blackberry software to backup everything and update my apps it always says I need to update the core applications so I just do what it says to do, anyways I'm just wondering if that's normal to have to update the core applications every time I connect it, or is that not normal.

Mar 11, 2011My girlfriend and I both have Bberry torch (9800). I have updated her Bberry with the Desktop Manager a couple of days ago and for some reason, the update took a lot more time than usual (more than the whole afternoon). I know it was frozen, but I didn't want to loose any software info and have problems with a half-updated device. But, at the end of day, I had no other options, and I had to reboot the update again. Luckily, I had done my back up prior to this.
And as expected, after the successful update, I had lost all my personal data due to the failure of the first update attempt. Therefore, I uploaded the back up in the device, and all personal data came back (lucky me).However, the information in the password manager application is all gone.
BB Torch :: Email Setup Update & App Error 601
Jun 8, 2011I was using my torch for months now and was able to set up 3 web-based email accounts initially. I encountered no problem even syncing my messages with my Playbook. This morning, i was planning to add another email account so i went to the EMAIL SETUP menu and clicked INTERNET MAIL ACCOUNT. There was a prompt asking me that there is an upgrade to the the Email Setup Application so i upgraded. After the reboot my phone when WHITE SCREEN and there was a prompt telling me APP ERROR 601 then my phone automatically reboots then the same error occurred. I was able to restore my phone and now i want to set up my email accounts and the same "upgrade" option is there. After all the hassle of restoring my phone, Im a bit hesitant to upgrade my Email Setup Application. Hence, i cannot configure my email accounts and I cannot see my messages when i Bridge my phone with my Playbook.

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Apr 6, 2012I was trying to sync the unit with my PC the other day to back -up my contacts and SMS messages when it prompted me to enter a password. I initially keyed-in the password that I inputted to the device when I got surprised that it prompted an error message (I remember my password really well and normally do not have problems with this.). Thinking that since I am syncing my phone device to my PC, it might be prompting for my PC password (as opposed to my phone password), so I also tried my PC password, again an "Incorrect Password" message. Thinking it might be some default password, I also tried 1234 and 12345 and still both failed! Now, I am down to my last try (4/5 tries already), or else "All information will be erased".Is the password being prompted my ORIGINAL phone password? Does syncing the phone with the PC "change" the password of my device to that of my PC? Also, since my password includes numerals, I am now suspecting that I may not have pressed the Alt Key hard enough to properly register the numerals? Although in the past, I didn't really encounter a similar problem keying-in my password that's why all this is a surprise for me.I am tempted to use the touch screen qwerty for my last try to ensure that I am typing in the right password, inclusive of the numerals. I just need a reassurance that the phone password is the same, and that syncing the devise did not change it.
