I don't know how it happen but I can't find 284 pictures that were in the camera. At first my phone started to get so slow, then I couldn't not see them. I decided to pass them into the computer but when I didn't find any pics. I don't think they were saved into the memory card. Now it's saying that the memory card need to be reformatting but a message also says that I can't lose what I have.

Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.

But for some reason when a few of them accepted and became contacts I was (and still am) unable to view their display pictures and the same people can't see mines. I never had this problem with my old BB torch 9860 and I have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue like rebooting, taking battery out, backing up contacts etc but I'm still having the same problem. I'm using blackberry messenger version 6.0.1.32.

Hubby says they're not his, and that they were his friend's, but I know his friend does not own a BB 9800. I want to check if there is any way you could download images from another data storage and have the exif tags changed to BBs...without the users knowing how it happened..

So, a couple days ago, I noticed my pics had disappeared. The phone said "A Media Card has been insert that contains errors" and I tried to repair them, but as others have found, "Media Card Repair Failed". When I plugged both the phone, and then the media card via a card reader, into my laptop, the "camera" folder was simply a Unix file, not a folder anymore, and obviously no contents. So is the problem the card, or is the instructions for the camera missing? I've tried taking the battery out a few times to reboot - no effect. I've tried "repair" repeatedly and that doesn't work. I've not managed to re-format the card so do let me know how exactly to do that via the phone, if you think that's the best option.
