I just got the BB Torch 9810 two weeks ago and it suddenly doesn't let me change my profile (normal). I can't change the profile. It will let me touch any other icon on the menu except the profile one. It doesn't respond?

I can't change the profile on my 9300, I can edit it to change sounds etc, but can't swap between silent, loud etc. This has happened all of a sudden.

My sons iphone 4 needed to be replaced. When i plugged in the new phone it stated i needed to update the software and recommened I create a new user and change the user after updating. Now i can't figure out how to change the profile back to the profile we used on the broken phone.

Suppose I am in general profile and I press power button to change the profile, the switch off option and the profile list will be displayed for a second and then the phone restarts... It doesn't appear as if the program is compatible with the Tour. Are there any programs that do anything similar? Put your Nokia N900 on Silent. Now call your mobile and when the calling screen appears hit the loudspeaker key. Clicking this key will cut out even the vibrations on the Nokia N900, but the phone you are calling from will still hear a ringing tone.End the call from the other phone. Now put the Nokia N900 back on General profile. Call the N900 again from another phone. This time you will not hear a ring tone even though you are back on General profile. (I've checked and my volume was on full)
Atleast this is the problem I'm getting at the moment. Apologies if this problem has been covered elsewhere. I've tried to find it but couldnt so will appreciate if someone can paste a link to it here.The problem goes away if you restart the N900, but I'm hoping this problem can be fixed.
how to set up a new profile for your Torch? I'm wanting to create a new profile to use for when I only want certain contacts to be able to reach me [eg when I'm off ill from work or on leave]. I was able to do that with my previous Nokia and would love to be able to do it again if possible with my Torch. I created the profile but don't know how to load the contacts.

I was messing around with my Profile settings today, and I somehow got my Vibrate Only Profile for the Phone's Vibration settings out of sync from the Normal Profile. Before it had "(Normal)" in front of "Custom" but now it's gone, see attachment. Is there a way I could set it back somehow?

I can access the "Sound and Alert Profiles" via the Homescreen icon but when I then click the "Sounds for Selected Profile" banner nothing happens. However, during setup I associated the new phone with my BB ID that is still in use on the other phone but it doesn't look like I can run both devices with the same ID - so so how do I remove the ID from the new one?
I will be keeping both phones so I guess I will need seperate IDs for both?
