View 2 RepliesI have updated the software to version 6 onto my new netbook and have microsoft office 2007. IT wont let me sychronise memo pad, calendar and addresses etc.. When i go into configure it, the drop down box after i have inputted 2 way synch with outlook, the drop down box that asks for outlook user profile has nothing in it and if you try to proceed, you get the error message:

From the research that I have done, it appears that I can add, move, delete or rename email folders on my blackberry device only if I have the enterprise version of the operating system. Is there any way to be able to organize my messages on my device other than a huge inbox as a personal (not enterprise) user?If possible I'd like to synchronize my folders, but I'd settle to just be able to create my own folders on my blackberry for organization purposes.Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a huge weakness when comparing to other types of mobile devices.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBeen having an issue over the past several weeks with my Torch 980. It's currently running OS6.0 bundle 2647.
About every 3-4 times I use a Bluetooth device and disconnect it from the phone (usually by switching the device off) I am finding that the Torch will not disconnect from the device itself. The blue light continues to pulse, and if I look in the Bluetooth settings, it will still show that it's connected to the device. If I try to then disconnect the device in the Torch's setup, it is unable to complete the disconnection. The Torch is then not able to connect to any other device and the battery drains much quicker I suppose because it's using the bluetooth radio.
I've got 3 main Bluetooth devices I use with the Torch -- a Jabra headset, a RocketFish headset for cycling and a Belkin unit for handsfree in my car. This same behaviour happens with all three devices. It's random in that I can't reliably reproduce it -- generally happens every 3rd to 4th time I use a bluetooth device.
Only way to get it running normally again is to physically pull the battery. Even if I turn the device off and back on again, the blue light continues to blink and it still shows its connected to the device.
I have a torch phone and it will not allow me to turn my bluetooth on. I turn it on and it turns a light blue then when I check to see if it is working it isn't on. I recently did an update to the software and the problem seemed to occur right after this. I'm not sure the software updated correctly and I did reboot.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using the bluetooth handsfree built in at my car. They are paired with my blackberry and was working just fine until my phone alerted me that there was a software update to my phone and I have done it. Now my phone isnt auto connecting to the bluetooth hf and when I try to do it manually it says connection failed. Tried re pairing and no luck. My car is a land rover and my phone details are as follows:

Carrier: Turkcell
I have a Blackberry Torch 9810 with OS 7. I dont know what happened but all of a sudden I am unable to send files through bluetooth. I cant see any option of bluetooth in the send options menu.
I tried to deseclect port service in the bluetooth options and saved it. Againg selected port service and saved it. I also restarted my device while doing this. But still I am unable to send files via bluetooth.
When I receive a call on my BlackBerry Torch 9800, the Bluetooth connection with my car (Mercedes E class) sometimes crashes and I end up fiddling with the phone to try to retrieve the call. It only does this sometimes and the connection was perfectly OK with other phones. Making calls and downloading the address book all work fine.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was configuring bluetooth connection between my laptop and Torch 9800 and windows automatically configured my Torch as bluetooth modem and now I can use my Torch as a modem over bluetooth for internet access. This is a welcomed surprise as I was contemplating whether or not to spend 20 plus dollars to buy the tethered application but apparently there is this free option. This is probably not new to BB experts but I was so happy about this "new discovery" that I thought of sharing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. Other phones all still connect to the range rover - what bug has been introduced here and when/what will be done to fix it as I cannot roll back the O/S. Apple IOS works fine.
sees bluetooth inbuilt car kit, connect to it and then shows "land rover bluetooth connection failed" - have tried reboot of phone and changing settings to no avail. Try with any other phone and it connects straight away as normal and always has. Is this another Bberry Bluetooth issue I have read about. Wishing I hadnt upgraded now as cannot use handsfree in car due to O/S update. Is anyone else experiencing this issue since the recent O/S update by Bberry ??
I have a Torch 9860 that has problems with my new 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. I can pair it with the bluetooth in the car, and it will sometimes keep the connection on the next trip, but usually I get a 'connection failed' message. If I revert to the previous OS version, the problem goes away. I had to have the phone replaced recently, though, and the problem is back. It works great with a Jabra earpiece, but not with the car. I could do the same downgrade, but I would prefer not to.
