BB Torch :: Cannot Synchronize My Calendar
Aug 10, 2011I have updated the software to version 6 onto my new netbook and have microsoft office 2007. IT wont let me sychronise memo pad, calendar and addresses etc.. When i go into configure it, the drop down box after i have inputted 2 way synch with outlook, the drop down box that asks for outlook user profile has nothing in it and if you try to proceed, you get the error message:
options value is unacceptable.
BB Torch :: Synchronize Email Folders?
Dec 5, 2011From the research that I have done, it appears that I can add, move, delete or rename email folders on my blackberry device only if I have the enterprise version of the operating system. Is there any way to be able to organize my messages on my device other than a huge inbox as a personal (not enterprise) user?If possible I'd like to synchronize my folders, but I'd settle to just be able to create my own folders on my blackberry for organization purposes.Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a huge weakness when comparing to other types of mobile devices.

Dec 15, 2010Been having an issue over the past several weeks with my Torch 980. It's currently running OS6.0 bundle 2647.
About every 3-4 times I use a Bluetooth device and disconnect it from the phone (usually by switching the device off) I am finding that the Torch will not disconnect from the device itself. The blue light continues to pulse, and if I look in the Bluetooth settings, it will still show that it's connected to the device. If I try to then disconnect the device in the Torch's setup, it is unable to complete the disconnection. The Torch is then not able to connect to any other device and the battery drains much quicker I suppose because it's using the bluetooth radio.
I've got 3 main Bluetooth devices I use with the Torch -- a Jabra headset, a RocketFish headset for cycling and a Belkin unit for handsfree in my car. This same behaviour happens with all three devices. It's random in that I can't reliably reproduce it -- generally happens every 3rd to 4th time I use a bluetooth device.
Only way to get it running normally again is to physically pull the battery. Even if I turn the device off and back on again, the blue light continues to blink and it still shows its connected to the device.
BB Torch :: Bluetooth Cannot Turn On
May 7, 2012I have a torch phone and it will not allow me to turn my bluetooth on. I turn it on and it turns a light blue then when I check to see if it is working it isn't on. I recently did an update to the software and the problem seemed to occur right after this. I'm not sure the software updated correctly and I did reboot.

They are paired with my blackberry and was working just fine until my phone alerted me that there was a software update to my phone and I have done it. Now my phone isnt auto connecting to the bluetooth hf and when I try to do it manually it says connection failed. Tried re pairing and no luck. My car is a land rover and my phone details are as follows:

Jun 21, 2012I have a Blackberry Torch 9810 with OS 7. I dont know what happened but all of a sudden I am unable to send files through bluetooth. I cant see any option of bluetooth in the send options menu.
I tried to deseclect port service in the bluetooth options and saved it. Againg selected port service and saved it. I also restarted my device while doing this. But still I am unable to send files via bluetooth.

Jun 19, 2011When I receive a call on my BlackBerry Torch 9800, the Bluetooth connection with my car (Mercedes E class) sometimes crashes and I end up fiddling with the phone to try to retrieve the call. It only does this sometimes and the connection was perfectly OK with other phones. Making calls and downloading the address book all work fine.

Nov 4, 2011There seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. My car is a 2005 BMW 6 series and it works fine with my wife's older Blackberry (a Curve I think) and my old Torch 9800.

BB Torch :: 9860 Bluetooth With Car Hands-free?
Nov 24, 2010I have a Torch 9860 that has problems with my new 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. I can pair it with the bluetooth in the car, and it will sometimes keep the connection on the next trip, but usually I get a 'connection failed' message.If I revert to the previous OS version, the problem goes away. I had to have the phone replaced recently, though, and the problem is back. It works great with a Jabra earpiece, but not with the car. I could do the same downgrade, but I would prefer not to.
