I have the Blackberry Torch 9800 and for the last while my battery will constantly randomly drop to almost dead. If I remove the battery it usually goes back up and sometimes it's okay for the rest of the day or for a few days, while some days it does it 2-3 times every hour to the point it basically needs to be left plugged in.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug this unit into any charger (wall or USB), the charging icon shows up (battery with th lightning bolt) shows up and the clock (screen saver) also gets activated as normal, but after 10-15 seconds the chrging indicator goes and it shows as if the unit is not charging.But I know that the handset is getting charged as I can use it easily for a day long as per the normal battery life.So effectively the unit always shows an empty battery icon (Red outlined hollow battery icon always) and the LED always blinks amber. But th ephone works normal except than this.
Also if I do a battery pull out and reinsert it, after boot up the battery shows 100% but the icon and battery level indicators drop back to 1% and empty battery icon within 15-20 mins with the phone continuing it's normal opeartion ith the empty battery icon (down to 1%)This is causing a lot of trouble as I never know what is the actual battery level and poses problem when I do not charge and the battery is actually low The unit is out of warranty and BB guys have refused to repair. I'm using the default theme and have not changes the theme so I can rule out the issues of 3rd party theme icons.
My Z5P Â drops WiFi constantly. Looses contact, everywhere. In 5min it can happen 3-5times.While no one else with for example Iphone looses.It also happens frequently in public wifi places, and its really annoying.

My iPhone4 drops calls for absolutely no reason at all, at least 50% of the time.It doesn't matter how strong my signal is, or whether the call is outgoing or incoming. I've got my N6P International set, with nanosim.
Every once in a while, when I'm surfing the net, facebook etc. my data would just drop from LTE to "No Service" and stays there for 15 or so seconds before jumping back up.
I have tried going back to stock/locked bootloader, tested with another sim card and yet the issue occurs.
Using my sim card on another phone shows no drop in signal.. if I should RMA my device. Currently back to 6.0.1 Chroma.
Its getting really frustrating in the last 10 mins to drop over 3 times.
I have iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and I'm experiencing a Bluetooth issue with my 2013 BMW 3-series. iOS randomly drops the Bluetooth connection (Hands Free) to my BMW during a phone call. The phone call is not dropped, but it still goes on in the iPhone, but the Bluetooth connection simply drops.Â
I have updated the BMW Connected Driver to the latest version from URL.... and it does..I suspect the issue is at the iOS side, since I'd day that the iOS 7.1 update introduced it and I did not have the issue with iOS 7.0.Â

They are all reporting that they have had issues with their internet connection randomly dropping and iMessage not working (due to the internet being down). I thought it "sucked to be them".
I had a IPhone 4 that worked perfectly. I upgraded to the IPhone 4S (32gb) last week and now I'm having the same issue as the other people at work are having.
We all have iOS 5.1 and all on the AT&T network. Our phones say we have 4 or 5 bars of signal and "4G" internet (not really 4G, but that's another story). The only way you can tell something is wrong is that you can't browse the internet, you don't get any iMessages, no emails get synced and none of your internet dependent apps will work but the voice telephone and standard SMS work just fine.
If you try sending a SMS message to another IPhone user, it tries to send via iMessage and fails. It doesn't try to send via SMS.
In order to get your internet back up and working, you have to reboot your phone. This usually happens once or twice a day for me. Some of my co-workers have to reboot their phones up to 4 times a day.
I searched around google and found people with a similar problem, but it was related to iOS prior to 5.1 and/or having a SIM PIN set. All of us are on iOS 5.1 and don't have a SIM PIN.
One common demoninator is that we all upgraded from IPhone 4 to 4S and restored our IPhone 4 backups to our new IPhone 4S. Don't know if the issue is related.

my calls started to cut off while i was talking.videos (in Internet), started crashing. only fix was to reload the page again, and then watch from the place wher the video crashed, but it could crash again. it happens randomly as well, no time limit, sometime i can see a 10min video with no worries, but then next video cuts down in every 2min.some other installed applications started crashing.ram reports tell me that the usage is around150-160mb, so 150mb is still free.there's also plenty of space in the phone and memory card.

The phone battery indicator works fine till 18% to 100%. The battery level drops to 18% fine, but after that battery level drops suddenly to 1% & moment later phone shut down.
I found on net that its becuase of battery miscalibration. There are solution to reset calibrations for rooted phones, but as my phone is not rooted is there any way to reset battery calibration ?
The power button on my Iphone 4 is broken, so don't tell me to do the sleep+home reset. I obviously can't. It randomly turned off at 80% battery. I flicked the ringer to see if the screen was black (It's happened before) and it didn't vibrate like it should have. I plugged it in and nothing happened.

I bought a Z5C for my wife, but I am withholding it fo test purposes because I own a Z3c... As per title, if I use it while charging the battery's charge drops or, at best, doesn't improve.
I had already:
-Tried more usb cables, including those one which came along our phones.
-Tried more chargers: my usual z3c charger, my MacBook Pro, my iPad's charger, a no-name wall charger rated for 1Ampere;
-Repaired with bridge for Mac;
-Restored to factory defaults, effect of which turned out to be more or less like "Repair" procedure;Â
I don't' have strange applications running, I don't play games, mail synchronization is manual. It's like my phones are on perpetual holidays.

More over: I used it just to surf the web and take a dozen of shot with the camera set at 8MP, so nothing really challenging. The phones back heats but not really that much.

It has did this twice in the last week. I have not run it til it shuts off so I don't know how long it would last from 20% to being out of juice.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've observed my N97 mini's battery level dropping abruptly from 4 bars to 1 bar (with low battery alarm). The phone's slightly more than a month old and using the latest 11.x.x firmware. Did a bit of googling, and found several suggestions on how to save battery (turn off everything 'smart' on ur phone). That's not the point anyways. I need to find out why the battery level drops suddenly (like what happens when ur battery's dying out), and *not* why the battery lasts X hrs. I'm not sure about this, but I think this mostly happens when the battery level is slightly below max, and I use any app that needs the GPS functionality. But then, there doesn't seem to be any problem with the GPS hardware in the phone, 'coz it usually gets a GPS lock in less than a minute (mostly within seconds). Could it be related to the algo used to show the battery level, or is it that its my battery that's faulty? Any others out there having the same problem?

The prblem of the phone is, the battery level drops to 1% suddenly from 20%. And it says battey is 1% and it'll shut down. I didn't do anything, no rooting nothing. it is same as new. It happened about 4 times during this last week.

I purchased brand new Xperia Active before a week and it started showing battery related problem since then. When my phone shows battery level of 15%, it suddenly drops down to 1%, followed by phone shutting down. I have not rooted my phone. It is running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and build 4.0.2.A.0.62. Managing on 1200 mA is anyway becoming tough task for me and above that this issue is really irritating now.

My iphone 4 is fairly new, I have been using it for about 2 months. It has been perfectly fine besides a bit kinks here and there, the usual things. But today my lock/power button randomly stopped working for me. My fone wont lock at all. I did shut it off by holding the home button and the lock button, but then I couldn't turn it back on, with the reason being my lock/power button will not work. It is not jammed nor loose.
