I have a torch 9000. Tried to download an app. Had to upgrade App World first. After installing, nothing. Icon is gone. Wasted an hour trying to find solutions on line. Tried them all. Uninstall. Hard reboot. Soft reboot. Removed battery will BB was on, did fresh download, etc. No progress.

We spent an hour on the phone to AT&T support with no help. The icon is gold round with gridlines as latitude and longitude. The number "1" is beside it. It is at the top to the right of the email icon. I have a screen capture of it.

I installed it, still not found, I tried HIDDEN options, tried RE-BOOTINGI found a page where there were 4 causes and 4 resolutions given. The first 3 i tried and no use. The 4 th option is to click the given URL and update the device software, but that URL itself is not working.

I let it do all it needed to do whilst connected to pc blah blah blah and it now it just reboots all the time. Gets past the loading bar and then goes to the vodafone screen, then screen turns black, red light comes on, over and over and over again. However, when I plug it in to either my mains charger or the pc, it will boot up OK. Any help would be appreciated as it will soon be going out the window!! Or back to the shop.

I have no connection on blackberry app World or any of the blackberry apps or my e-mail, I can use MEdia net browser to connect to the internet it works fine, I can us Wi-Fi and everything work fine. Myspace or Facebook or any apps don't work unless i use my home Wi-Fi. I talk to AT&T and they said my internet was working fine.

There is no option for plain 2G like the old OS had.The reason I need to change to 2G is that the 3G coverage at home is not good at all and 2G is better, even though it's slow, it doesn't drop like 3G.Is my only option to downgrade my OS?
