My Storm 1 keeps selecting applications when I try to scroll down my application icons without the screen clicking in. Also when I try to type it selects the letters or numbers when i highlight them without the screen clicking. Everytime i touch the screen it selects what i touch without me pushing in on the screen.

I have got an Sony z3 and was using it fine for the last 8-7months,the problem is touch icon in my mob doesn't respond works once in a blue moon. homebutton, backbiting and the another button used to close opened apps also don't work, it may if click for nearly 20-25times.
Second problem: I can't scroll down the notification bar in portrait mode,it works in landscape mode.this was the first which had araised in my phone and later the home screen buttons.
My old 8900 trackball just failed - cant scroll L-R across icons to access mail/contacts/ txts for example.

How can I remove the items from the phone if it is not giving the option to do so? Apps that I did not install to the phone, but are listed in my applications folder (actual folder, not in setup options) on the phone itself.

Apps that I personally installed on the phone and then uninstalled them from the phone itself. They still show on the phone. If I click on the app, it takes me to the install screen & gives me the options "I agree / I do not agree".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just re-installed the firmware on my E71 having completed a full backup via PC Suite before doing so. The re-installation went OK & I've restored the backed-up stuff but most of the icons from the apps located on my memory card are now missing from the Installations folder on the phone so I cannot now access any of them. Many of the apps were paid for so I don't want to have to re-install them by downloading them again from Ovi.
Is there any way I can get the application icons back in the Installations folder? They were there when I did the backup & have always come back when I have done similar re-installations in the past. The apps are on the card & App Manager tells me they are all 'installed' but won't allow me to access them.
Is there any possible way to change existing app icons on an iPhone? I tried googling but couldn't find any solution for Mac users. And does it have to involve with Cydia and stuff?

The download was OK & I looked through JavaJazz after downloading but now I can't find an icon for either so can't open them. View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen my screen shows two lines of icons at the bottom, and a few assorted smaller icons at the top (not when all the screen is filled with four rows of icons), the icons at the top aren't in any of the documentation I have read. They are:
1. a small, black circle, with an arrow pointed at about 7:30, and a tiny red circle. I got this, it shows an SMS pending to be read.
2. a gold-colored globe (with latitude and longitude lines, that's how I think it's a globe), with a number "1" next to it
3. A blue square with a little white squiggle, and a red circle.What are they? Other than No. 1, I haven't found them in the doc.

View 5 Replies View Relatedyesterday i set my storm on the dock to my computer, started up dm. an update on my core applications 5.0 was available so i proceeded with the update. now all of those pushed icons for bing, my verizon, Internet, etc. keep popping up without a reboot! anyone else come across this?before the update i would remove these icons in my service books and they wouldn't pop up until after a reboot. since this latest update the icons pop up every half hour or so. very annoying to say in the least!
i apologize, i know this has been discussed already but this is getting so ridiculous! verizon keeps telling me "there's nothing they can do".is there a way to go back and "un-do" this update? i know we can't permanently delete these pushed icons, only hide them.
