I have my BlackBerry Storm 9530, I synchronized with BlackBerry Desktop Software 6, while the timing was in progress, there was a power cut and my BlackBerry does not work? Not turn on?

My BB Strom will not sychronize with the Desktop manager. Before I've a PC with Vista it works perfect. Now I Install Desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 on my new PC with windows 7 64-bit and it doesn't work. It looks like it synchronize but when you look in the Calander of both PC and BB nothing changend. I'll ask Vodafone in Holland for a solution. They say that it's a software problem what is not fixed for the moment. Wait for new software. I don't believe this. (Excuses for my bath English).

I have a Blackberry Storm, that won't allow me to synchronize my address book.Once I have agreed to 'processing device address book', and the synchronization is about to happen, an error prompt appears "CONNECTOR SPECIFIC ERROR".How can I synchronize my addresses from the blackberry to my windows address book without "connector specific error"? Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an unlocked BB Storm 2 (original Verizon USA) to use in India. It can only receive SMS on Vodafone India network. No incoming-outgoing call. It works fine on Airtel, Idea etc in India. Vodafone India blames the phone and the phone vendor (in USA) blames the network. I used another Vodafone SIM also - did not work.

When I heard of the Storm 2, I was so excited but unfortunately been informed by Globe that they will not be promoting or marketing Storm 2. Not even the other network.
So, it left me with no choice but to looked for an unlocked Storm 2 (openline) in the open market. Today, I saw a local store selling a Storm 2 model 9550 with a Verizon marking. The staff told me that it was unlocked by the factory. However in my internet surfing, I was told that model 9520 are meant for Asia and Europe while 9550 is for North America and USA.
One website said that if you use a 9520 in the USA, only GPRS would work and not the 3G because USA network is different. So, my concern now is if vice versa, I bought the unlocked 9550 and use it in the Philippines, does this mean the 9550 will not work on our 3G here being different to US system?
Blackberry service is not working on my storm 2 9550 I tried every thing but the service still wont work. I bought it through internet it's an unlocked Verizon storm 2 9550 and am using it on Zain-Jordan carrier. when I called my service provider they told me that probably verizon locks the data service and you need to unlock it, is that possible? And if that correct how can I fix the problem.

I've tried doin' the add new profile but every time I go to try and add an exception, I can never find where it says "add exception" on my phone. I only need it for my husbands text messages. Here's the thing: I've looked through thousands of sites concerning voice mails on BB but mine just won't work. I've already set up my number, password (ppxxxx - is that correct?) and when I tried holding 1, it went to voice mail but the activation wouldn't come up, saying it's busy. Close other applications and try openning the camera again". I called Verizon and over the phone they ask me to re-install the OS software using the BB desktop software. I did sevveral times but I still get the same message. They can not solve the problem.it is frustrating to not have and user toool to help except getting this message which is useless.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a blackberry storm from my friend about 2 weeks ago. When I got it, it worked perfectly, I personalized eveyrthing and I loved the phone. However, this week I was at work and I'm pretty sure the phone died. The red light stayed on, and when I was charging it in my car, it wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't turn on for 2 days, other than the white screen with the battery. I did a few battery pulls and left it plugged in. Now, it turns on when it wants to but the touchscreen realizes that my finger is there, but it doesn't click. What should I do? I took it to verizon and since I don't have insurance on it, they won't give me a new one.
