i have tried to install the new bb app world 3.0 and it will not download i have tried unstalling it and rebooting my phone but it still hasnt worked and its just the old one that still remains
View 1 RepliesHaving just got a Blackberry Curve 8520 today I have spent hours reading and trying to install app world. When i try it on the BB it says The requested item could not be downloaded. When i try from my pc Internet explorer crashes everytime. Have to say this is the worst piece of software I have ever come acroos. Would any one have any idea how to get round this as I have tried the clock thing and still nothing. Looks like I willl be selling this BB pretty soon.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 9300 and the DTS upgraded the software from OS5 to OS6 which resulted in the phone becoming increasingly unresponsive, spending loads of time buffering or waiting for it to respond and not being able to use the Internet Browser at all as the pages were always "Too Large" so they got closed down.
I have just downgraded the software back to OS5 to try and free up some of the application memory on the phone in the hope that it will work faster. It is slightly better and not as sluggish but it now won't let me download app world, Facebook or Twitter. It keeps jumping to a page that says that the server has timed out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and individual apps, battery pull and tried doing it via my laptop - none of this is working and I am losing patience fast. The phone is about to be thrown off the balcony
I own a BB Curve 8520. I have it for 1 month now. I have been googling on HOW TO INSTALL FACEBOOK for my BB. Unfortunately, I didn't find one. And my app world isn't working. Even if I use wifi or mobile internet.

When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?

Yesterday somehow, I can't log in to my app. I've changed my password 2 times but still didn't work. So, I changed (already installed) 3.0.1.27 app world to 3.0.2.9 app world. I delete my ID and made a new account with the same email ID but it didn't work. The new app world even run slower than the previous one.
