I have a problem with my bb sms service: when I write and send a text message, the green message composer icon still remains in my inbox - my blackberry doesn't seem to recognise that i've sent the message.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy App World, doesnt allow me to log in on my phone having changed my password (even having changed it through the forgotten password link). Looking at my status my Blackberry Enterprise Server is not connected so i'm not sure if that is anything to do with it or not. I've even logged in to my account on the Blackberry website with my details and it allows me to log in, so not sure why it doesnt like it on the phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI?ve been through every avenue possible but Kies still does not recognise my Galaxy S II when I try to upgrade the software.Checking the device manager in Win7 shows Galaxy usb device installed and functioning normally.Kies just runs and runs and in the end shows message device not found? Another problem is that during this installation process the firmware upgrade has encountered an issue and no longer reset back to the previous installation.I therefore only have two options on my mobile presently,the other one beeing the Odin mode showing the Android icon and ?Downloading? i.e. ready to receive the data.I have the latest .net Framework installed as well as the latest Kies software.Any other way to make the connection between Odin and my phone?

A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.
View 5 Replies View Related1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
Why does my messages icon take me to a missed calls list and not my SMS messages? To get to SMS I have to "view folders". Please tell me there is a quicker way.

Everything went smoothly during the upgrade, ever since then I have been having trouble with receiving text messages and MMS messages. I have gone to 3 sites for free ringtones have sent the ring tones to my phone, I have not received anything. When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
I am using the Blackberry Storm, I believe the 9530 (its the first gen). Anyway, just recently my text messages only stay for a couple of days and then they delete themselves or simpley disappear.
There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?
I cannot find a setting that allows me to keep my text messages from being broken into many individual messages. The same happens to messages I receive. A single message may be broken up into seven or eight individual messages, which most often are not even in the proper order when received, or sent. Most text messages on other phones are one block.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.
I can't really receive any messages. It's all delayed. I'm from Philippines. my iPhone had been unlocked since my mom bought it in USA. I can't receive any messages here in our province but when I'm in Metro Manila, it's working.

When I intentionally send a photo message, my phone asks me if I want to take a new photo or use one from my camera roll. This question isn't asked when I type a normal text message, but it often is received as a photo message even though there is no photo.

My sister uses an Android phone but when she receives a message from our sister-in-law who has an iPhone, it arrives broken down into multiple shorter messages. Apparently the same thing happened when our late brother would send a message to my sister from his iPhone. I don't use text messaging (in fact I have it totally disabled on my iPhone), so I've never experienced this.as to why this happens? My sister says it doesn't happen with messages sent from non-iOS phones.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently discovered that when I scroll down to look at my old text messages, a lot of them have turned into drafts and when I click into them, all the texts are gone. I have also noticed that there are the occasional text messages amongst the green ones that I can read. I suspect that this has to do with the fact that I have saved those messages in a folder.
My phone is running on OS 6.0.0.448, could this have something to do with it? My phone did not originally come with this OS system as it is a Bold 9700. In my message settings, my messages are set to be kept forever. And my validity period is set to Max. I also use this phone with 2 different numbers and sim cards in different countries. Could this have something to do with it?
For some reason whenever someone sends me an MMS message that is supposed to be a video type message, it is only showing it as a picture message. I am not sure what may be the case.

Does not work to resend, tried power down, sync, turning on and off mms switch. Can not resolve this issue. Could it be the carrier?

I use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?
