My memory Card was working well until yesterday it started switching off my bb and any other bb whenever I place it in them. I even tried a memory card reader and it didn't work. I don't want to lose my data!
View 1 RepliesI just got a BB Pearl 8220, and it won't recognize my media/memory card. Its a microSD card. I have formatted the card, and everything. First of all, I don't have a Media Card option in my Options menu, rather I have a Memory option, with Media Card Support, Encyption Mode, etc...I get two messages underneath all the options:
1) Application Memory: Free Space: 52.2 MB (I'm assuming this the the BB's own space)
2) (The more interesting part): A media card is not presently inserted in the device.
I know for a fact my microSD card works because it works perfectly on my other cell phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I make a call and I want to turn on speakerphone I just usually press the speaker or "$" button. Now if I do it just gives me the headset icon not the speaker icon. This started to happen when I use my BB as my mp3 player using an ipod earphone.
And sometimes when I make or answer a call, the phone keeps switching from handset to headset icons nonstop! I did a batt pull and it didn't help.
My Bold 9700 all of a sudden started rapidly switching from handset to headset which makes it impossible to make or receive a call since you can't hear. You can hear it doing the same thing even when you're typing in a phone number....is there a fix? I have tried battery pulls etc....

It worked really well until I pulled the headphone jack out and now when I make a phone call, the phone switches from headset to handset over and over again. I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer, since obviously emailing them one at a time or moving them one at a time is not practical.When I go to Options > Memory, all options are set to On (Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol, and Mass Storage Mode Support).When I go to Media > Pictures > All Pictures, I see all my photos. When I go to Picture Folders, it says Device Memory.
While connected to my PC via USB, I try to pull it up in Windows Explorer. I see options for MTP Device - Device Memory and MTP Device - Media Card. There are only empty folders under Device Memory. Media Card has nothing under Data, and only my music files under Media. Similar behavior when I pull it up under Windows Media Player.

Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

Lastly, I noticed that when I call people using my Curve, it shows up on their caller ID as "private name, private number." Where can I change this setting? Is it in my provider's settings (which I can access online) or on the BlackBerry's settings somewhere? Also, is it possible to at least NOT have it show private when calling those on my address book, such as friends & relatives?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have come to 'Memory Low ' error message and have a question about that.I am not using additional applications, just default ones.I am not using mail.I clean web cache.What I have though is a lot of Saved Pages. As I noticed that my memory is geting low, I deleted my music using File manager and deleted some Saved pages. Problem is that used memory is still the same like it was before I deleted the files. I suppose that my deleted files gone to recycle bin or something like that? How can I REALY delete it (without reset)? And another question: Is there a way to save (transfer) 'Saved Pages' to memory card?
