How can I stop my BB calendar from adding invite updates etc. From email notifications from Google calendar. I get an email & look at it & I am not given the option of accepting or not.
View 1 RepliesEver since I activated BES (so that I could sync email/calendar with my company's MS Exchange server), I have been experiencing a couple of email-related issues that I did not have previously:
1)When composing a new email or trying to add another contact to an existing email, when I type in the name of the person, the email address auto-complete function does not work. It does work when I am sending SMS, MMS, and searching through my Phone Book, but does not work in email for some reason. Even if I manually type in the correct email address, I do not have a option for the email. I can only reply to email or go through the Phone Book and selection the phonebook entry. I have done the phone book quickfix several times without any success.
2)My calendar events are not showing up in my BES email folder both sent or received calendar notices do not show up for some reason. I have re-sent the Service Books from BES a couple of times to no avail.
CAN'T REMEMBER MY PASSWROD.CURVE NO LONGER ACCEPTS EMAILS.TRIED REMOVING BATTERY.NOW CAN'T EVEN GET PASS INCRIPTION POINT.

I tried to reset it to 2012 but settings now keep going back to December 31, 2555. Has anyone else seen this? The phone OS has been maintained current to iOS5.

I set up my gmail and calendar and they synced properly, but after that I had to go in to profiles and the goggle profile and push a sync to get them to update. I can't find a place in the menu to change the auto-sync settings.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Xperia Z3 D6603 Yesterday. Everything is fine. Except my Gmail and Google Calander do not auto sync.
- I already deleted updates for Gmail and reilstalled through Google Play store. Didn't work.
- I deleted my Google account and reinstalled. Didn't work.
- In settings > accounts > Google > Synchronize, gmail and calender are set to automatic.
- I also have all the newest Google and Sony updates installed on my phone.
Altogether it seems like there is something going on with my Google Sync, but I cant find out what is it.

I have changed internet providers, so when i go to send my self an email ( browser links, etc), my two previous accounts appear for the "auto-fill". The same if i type my wife's email address in, also, it pops up with the old email address. I am using the app for OUTLOOK, but it also was doing it for the other program that i had installed. I looked thru my contacts, and there is nothing there with the old email address. It's just a nuisance thing, but other than the mail issue with it showing our old email email address' the phone works fine. How to remove the old email address'.

I can't seem to find a way around this... I have just switch to the iphone from a blackberry which automatically pushed my email on its arrive to the server, so this is extremely annoying that I have to wait or manually push my mail. I mainly use my college email account which is not associated with g-mail, hotmail, yahoo etc.

I'd like to set them all to auto retrieval; but the phone only lets me set 2 with that option. If I select a 3rd it tells me "maximum amount of mailboxes already automatically retrieving e-mails". How do you delete an address from autofill in email? I have cleared cache, browser, history, updated contacts in gmail.. etc etc. What is happening is that even though the address is not in my address book, because I've used it on my phone it keeps coming up. I have read through here on how to delete it, but I can not find out how to delete this. I am using iphone 4, newest software, gmail. The address is not in my address book and everything/person I've replied too is saved/keeps coming up.

I previously had a gmail account and on that, I obviously sent emails.
This account as now been deleted off my iPhone and the login credentials long forgotten.
Now under my new iCloud and new gmail account (which I created in lieu of my previous gmail), I get the email addresses that I no longer want or use that I sent from my previous and now-deleted account, popping up in my auto-fill as soon as I start to type a few characters in the "To" box.
I'd rather not restore my iPhone to factory settings. I have an iPhone 4 running on the latest software and I also have a PC on windows vista.

It worked fine for the first 10months ... Now blammo, nadda!When I type an email (compose new, reply or forward), my email addresses from my contacts now longer auto-magically auto-fill. It doesn't matter what category the contact is from. I've tried alt "rbld" in the contacts. I've restarted about 15times over the last week, even with the almighty battery pull. I've tried re-syncing multiple times. I've removed and re-installed my email accounts. I've spent more time trying to fix it than typing in the dern addresses at this point, it's just so blastedly inconvenient and time consuming with my excessive emailing for work. I'm ready to try a stick dynamite attached to the phone, but thought it was a lil extreme, so I'm asking for help first...

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night I received 3 auto-generated emails from BlackBerry.com. Each one was addressed to my "pin" and stated that I had requested my password be sent to me. It DID include my password. I could not respond to the email since it was a do not reply address. I called Verizon to see if they could tell me what was going on....they could not help. I called BlackBerry customer service and was told they couldn't help either. I find it hard to believe that this was an error since each one was a minute apart...as if somone was repeatedly attemping to gain my password. Is there any possible way to find out where this request originated from and/or who made the request?
