whenever i draft a email. the auto search option for email is not working. the same is a problem while new message, reply or forward and for all the email id i have on my phone also i have tried restarting the phone min 3 to 4 times. remove the battery and simcard too?

I have changed internet providers, so when i go to send my self an email ( browser links, etc), my two previous accounts appear for the "auto-fill". The same if i type my wife's email address in, also, it pops up with the old email address. I am using the app for OUTLOOK, but it also was doing it for the other program that i had installed. I looked thru my contacts, and there is nothing there with the old email address. It's just a nuisance thing, but other than the mail issue with it showing our old email email address' the phone works fine. How to remove the old email address'.

I have cleared cache, browser, history, updated contacts in gmail.. etc etc. What is happening is that even though the address is not in my address book, because I've used it on my phone it keeps coming up. I have read through here on how to delete it, but I can not find out how to delete this. I am using iphone 4, newest software, gmail. The address is not in my address book and everything/person I've replied too is saved/keeps coming up.

I have a 9630 Tour from Sprint.when composing an email the address in the "TO" or "CC" won't auto populate anymore from addresses in my Address Book. I'm sure this must be an easy solution but I'm at a loss and don't even know how it began.

Now blammo, nadda!When I type an email (compose new, reply or forward), my email addresses from my contacts now longer auto-magically auto-fill. It doesn't matter what category the contact is from. I've tried alt "rbld" in the contacts. I've restarted about 15times over the last week, even with the almighty battery pull. I've tried re-syncing multiple times. I've removed and re-installed my email accounts. I've spent more time trying to fix it than typing in the dern addresses at this point, it's just so blastedly inconvenient and time consuming with my excessive emailing for work. I'm ready to try a stick dynamite attached to the phone, but thought it was a lil extreme, so I'm asking for help first...

Ever since I activated BES (so that I could sync email/calendar with my company's MS Exchange server), I have been experiencing a couple of email-related issues that I did not have previously:
1)When composing a new email or trying to add another contact to an existing email, when I type in the name of the person, the email address auto-complete function does not work. It does work when I am sending SMS, MMS, and searching through my Phone Book, but does not work in email for some reason. Even if I manually type in the correct email address, I do not have a option for the email. I can only reply to email or go through the Phone Book and selection the phonebook entry. I have done the phone book quickfix several times without any success.
2)My calendar events are not showing up in my BES email folder both sent or received calendar notices do not show up for some reason. I have re-sent the Service Books from BES a couple of times to no avail.
Autofill suggests emails that were typed incorrectly or I no longer in use. How do I remove them, as they are not in my address book?

A month ago my 8310 Curve, v. 4.5.0.55 (Platform 2.7.0.68) service provider O2, stopped being able to search and find Contacts unless I had added them after that date. These newer Contacts have not been folded into the original Address Book, but are all in a new and alphabetised list at the end of the original Contacts list. There are no Categories assigned, no Network sync, and Content is not protected. The Contacts are in the phone, not on the SIM.
Before this, I could type in to the Address Book or the phone the first 2-3 letters of someone's name and it would take me to that contact - now it says there's no such person. So I have to scroll through the entire address book to get to who I want, and then I can call/SMS etc.
Can you have two Blackberry Bolds receiving the same email messages from one email address?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've spent so long googling and I've made exactly no progress at all...!!- Problem: my blackberry only keeps text messages for about a week before deleting them- Phone type: It is a blackberry Curve 9320. It seems to be on OS 7.1. I got it around the middle of October 2012.- Also worth noting: unlike most people I've found online with this complaint- my call logs aren't being deleted, and are still intact all the way back to the middle of October when I got the phone.- Also, emails aren't deleted after a week, they perhaps linger for as much as a month before vanishing.
(I don't care about those as much because I can access them other ways, whereas texts I can't)According to various googlings and also questions on here, this is most commonly due to lack of memory, therefore they suggest that you check your memory status and then free some up if required.- When I go into device and status information it tells me that my free memory is around 133602256 bytes (which I believe is in the region of 126mb?). Does this count as a lot or a little? Could this be the source of the problem after all?- Similarly when I look in memory use under media it says 'built-in media storage 96% free (30.4mb)' and 'media card storage 95% free (1.7gb)'The other obvious thing which I've checked (and initially thought had solved the problem but it hadn't) was 'Message display and actions' where I've had 'days to keep messages' set as forever but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.Am I missing something really obvious? How can I get it to keep my messages for more than 7 or 8 days?
I have been using BB from past 6 months or so, however all my messages from day one are getting auto deleted, the required changes are made to stop that but it still does not work. E:g - if vodafone is sending me a msg, the content would get deleted and the symbol would go green.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i tap the address bar to type a new search or even tap the X to stop uploading a page, it sometimes just not responding or doing anything, and after a few taps, it finally "agrees" to go into "writing mode", or stop uploading..
And while i'm at it, i tried a few browsers, but most of them were not as fast as the Chrome so ATM i decided to stick with it. Anyway, i was wondering if there's a good browser that lets you swipe left to go back, as in the IOS7 Safari? (instead of using the back softkey) it's also a bit weird that in order to go back pages when the phone is in horizontal view, my only option is to tap the back softkey, which is now placed on the right bottom side of the screen.. not very smart or comfortable.
I have over 1K contacts and sometimes I would like to search by the ADDRESS field in my contact database and I can't figure out how to do that!?!?Example: John Smith lives on MAIN st. - If I enter "MAIN" in the search function, and check on contacts, John Smith DOES NOT come up. need to figure out how to do this, or a work around, or a 3rd party app if one is available.

The issue isn't with MY INFO being sent out, I found the options to stop that. What is driving me CRAZY is, only on certain phones, and even if the person is all ready saved in my contacts, I STILL KEEP RECEIVING AUTO SEND MY INFO MESSAGES, EVEN FROM STORED CONTACTS, AND IT IS VERY ANNOYING!
I've recently recieved a new Curve 8520 after the screen on my old one smashed. However, when I recieved the new phone I found I was unable to add my email address, or any other address for that matter, to the phone so I am now unable to actually recieve any emails whatsoever. When I attempt to do so, I get this message "Unable to log in. Please check your information and try again". I looked on the Blackberry support video for this and I'm missing about 3 or 4 screens out of the setup process. Rather than go from Create or add email address to agreeing terms, mine goes directly to asking for a user name and password and whilst I have a user name and password with Blackberry these don't work, despite being able to log in online with this same info. I've tried restarting the phone to see if this is a glitch but the problem remains.
