I was wondering if you can download an app from a site to a pc then upload to BB via cable. I don't have web access from my BB as bell as it was too expensive. $70.00 a month was a bit much said my wife.

Other smartphones including other Blackberry models and all Android and iPhone models access the site fine.The error our client received is:"The server returned the following error: Access Denied: Insecure SSL Request" then if you click Ok it says "Unable to connect using the current security settings. Please contact your service provider". If you click More Info, it brings up this message: "Your MDS has been configured to deny SSL requests to servers that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. Try using Device Side SSL which can be modified in your TLS Options. Contact your system administrator with questions."Our clients don't have access to their MDS which is through their service provider.The SSL certificate has an alt name (Certificate Subject Alt Name) and the SSL is registered under GoDaddy and the subject name has a subdomain (tickets).

I just picked up an LG GS170 phone (low-end flip-phone) with T-Mobile. I was able to use a micro-USB cable and Windows device driver I found from LG so my computer would recognize the phone in the device manager. But I can't do anything with it--no mounted "drive" and I haven't been able to find any Software (LG or third-party) that recognizes the phone (upload/download/edit address book; upload ringtones or wallpapers). I could do that with my old Motorola V195 phone. I have found some website that claim to have "apps" for the GS170 phone (wallpapers, small programs -- jar or zip files) but I can't do anything with them since I don't now how to upload them to the phone.Any ideas for "mounting" the phone, or programs that will talk to it at least for things such as backing up the address book?

Problem 1 is: when i press the back arrow on the bottom right hand of the phone i doesnt automatically go back it seems to think about it for about 5 minutes or so.(not all the time but quite alot of it) should it be faster than this. do you think i need to take the phone back and get it looked at

After I go through the process and reach the "download" part, it only downloads the BlackBerry Maps installer and that's it, after rebooting which it asks, no Maps is downloaded. whenever i download and install applications from ovistore it doesn't continue and ends up as error. and when i tried to sync again my phone to nokia acount (the one where nokia sends link to your phone to sync it) i never receive the message. the instruction in the manual syncing doesn't seem so helpful as i can't find the "To create the profile, select "Menu", then "Connect", then "Sync" part.

I have a USB2 OTG cable and a USB to RJ45 ethernet cable but when I connect it all up and try the web browser, the phone just say that it requires a Wi Fi connection.
