View 7 RepliesIs there no way to disable the shutter clicking sound on the camera? I have found no option, yet another option missing or removed in OS 6. other brand phones have this option, why not blackberry? the more I get to know the black berry phone, the less I like it.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSo my replacement iPhone 4 clicks when I tap the right side of the screen. I took off my Wrapsol to make sure it wasn't the screen protector. After testing my dad's iPhone 4, I realized the screen or back plate of mine must've been loose.
I immediately booked an appointment at the genius bar for tonight. So I go there and wait awhile for a genius to help me. One finally comes and he asks what the problem is. I explain it to him and he holds the phone and starts tapping it. He does hear the clicking sound and then hands it back to me. He says there will be a software fix coming soon. At this point, I was like "wait... what the heck are you talking about? It's a hardware problem" He claimed it was a software issue and told me not to worry about it. Since it was past 9pm at this point, I decided to not escalate this in some stupid way. I'm just going to call Applecare in the morning. Turns out some of these Apple geniuses aren't geniuses at all.
Before someone says the clicking came from the speakers, I'm completely sure they did not.
Lately I can hear a clicking noise while talking to someone.

Sometimes even holding can cause it evoke that sound, it most probably comes from the back near whew the camera is.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought Lumia 800 couple days ago and was very satisfied. But now i have a problem. When i tap on screen on top right corner area screen produces clicking sound. It's not software issue, it seems that display is not mounted properly. It occurs even when phone is powered off. Anybody else having this problem? Should I request a new unit? I didn't bought it from a store but from local reseller so i don't know if he'll be willing to replace it for me. Maybe it's my imagination but it looks like typing on that area is slightly unprecise.
I am providing video for you to hear. Noise is from computer fans but it should be enough for you to hear the clicking on screen

View 8 Replies View Relatedi havn't posted in a while on here. I had an origiinal tour from pre release in july 09. its been awsome ever since then. but the trackball has been crapping out lately. and vzw has sent me a replacement. well its trackball was worse lol. so i sent it back. anouther one came. and the standby button didnt click like my original one and like my storm standby and mute key they clicked too. 3rd one came today it dont click. you basically dont even know ur pushing it.
so my questions for you guys are.... when u press ur stanby button does it click or no? do u just know ur pushing it cause ur putting force on it? or does it click. please let me know, my vzw rep is following up with me tues @ 8pm est to check up on me and decide what we are going to do. any and all feedback is greatly appreceated. and this one came in a vzw certified replacement box the other ones came inside a brown box that had a plastic peice on them to snug the phone in it.
so does ur standby/mute key click? does the lock key click? thanks alot.
When I press the trackpad it does not have a "click" sound though it works. Is that normal?
View 12 Replies View RelatedMy girls blackberry 8320 is having issues. The trackball scrolls perfectly, but does not click at all. We've tried taking it to t-mobile places around here every single time they say "sorry nothing we can do" even during their free trackball replacement promo way back. She refuses to get a new phone for some reason, so I turn to you all for help on this one. Any idea what the problem could be? Would a new trackball from the store fix it you think?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't select things with my trackball. It started to stop working, so I ordered a new dome as well as a colored trackball as long as I was ordering things.Got parts today, replaced the trackball and the dome, and still no clicking. Could I have not put the dome in perfectly centered? Does that likely mean that the dome is not my problem?
I've gotten used to using the enter key for everything, but some things will not accept that. The option menus just go to the next line when you push enter instead of letting you change the option, the new Google Maps won't accept any input on the initial change permissions screen except a trackball click, so if there's anything else I could try, I'd really like to.
I've just bought a 16gb micro-sd scard by san disk. I've tried inserting it, (with the metal prongs face up as you are looking at the screen). It slides it but doesn't click in place, instead it pops back out unless I close the lid. It's not bringing up any message to say it's detetecting anything either. What's going on?
View 6 Replies View Relatedwhenever i try to take a picture with my phone it makes this annoying clicking sound, like a really old computer trying to do somthing? i dont know how to explain it... its very quiet and clicks whenever i try to take a picture, its not just once in a while. when i put my ear up close to the phone i can tell the sound is not coming from my speaker, it is coming from the camera, i had just gotten this phone new after blackberry was unable to fix my other one, and i had a loner phone for almost 3 months, and i dont want to take it in to my carrier again as i had just gotten the phone back and dont want another loner... the pictures it takes are acceptable, not the best...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 9530 storm that I purchased two months ago, It worked quite fine until a few weeks ago. It started double clicking and freezing at the same time. For example, lets say i want to enter the sms option, i would click it, but clock would open instead. Also if i try to scroll up or down, there will be no response....... This is quite annoying to me because i am trying to run a business using the phone as a communication medium. I read a million forums all saying to check memory, close apps etc but its a fairly new phone, i have no second gen apps, and internal memory of 41mb, so im baffled.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am receiving text messages; however, I cannot open nor send. When I click on it I get an error message "uncaught exception:java.lang.IndexoutOfBoundsException and I have taken the battery out, and also turned the power off at the icon. Everything else seems to be working fine except for this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've started noticing a weird clicking noise after using the camera. After I take a picture and press the 'Home' button to exit the application, it makes the noise, which sounds like there's something loose or something. Also, the slider part of the phone is loose at the bottom, so when I push the buttons I'm actually pushing the screen down onto the keyboard, which is annoying.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy LGG4 has an annoying clicking noise embedded that can be heard when playing back a recorded video. It is on the phone during playback as well as in the video after upload to Facebook. Not sure if this is related but a video I uploaded to Facebook also looked good on the phone but was horrible on Facebook (and had the clicking noise in the background)
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been using my 950XL for just over a week now. This morning while the phone was (wirelessly) charging on my Nokia Qi charger I noticed a soft clicking sound. It comes from the phone and it stops when I pick it up from the charger plate. (Well it does now, this morning I had to reboot the phone for it to stop)
Anyway, I found this clip on YouTube which is the exact sound mine is making too. Just search for "950 xl clicking" on YouTube. Do all 950(XL)'s make this noise? And is it a sign of trouble ahead?
It has the following text "Following unknown links leaves your phone and personal data vulnerable. By tapping OK, you agree that you are solely responsible for any damage to your phone or loss of data that may result from following this link". There are no messaging settings that turn this off.
I was only able to find one thing from an S5 question and the solution was unchecking a setting while in safe mode? How to do that on the S6 but i don't really want to have to if i can avoid it. I'm on AT&T btw and am running 5.1.1.
While on a phone call with anyone, I get a random clicking noise no matter if on speaker, bluetooth, or earpiece of phone. I have already tried pulling back, factory reset, and clearing the cache. Verizon phone on BOG5.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI rmb someone else reported this but I can't find the post. who else had this problem? the left side of my touchscreen when closed has a gap now with the keyboard to the point where if i press on the touchscreen, it will depress and "click".it's getting really annoying and i'm trying to "bend" the slider back so it doesn't but obviously that doens't help.
