my trackpad on curve 9330 decided to stop work, it has happened before but efter a couple of hpurs it solved itself...what to do..i live in Sweden and bought te phone from UK, what I now there is no retailer in Sweden for BB.
View 1 RepliesSo, I was watching basketball yesterday when my trackpad suddenly didn't work. It always happening but it came back after a minute. But it still not working until today. I tried the basic troubleshooting like pulling out the battery and wait for 2 minutes for several times but still not working. I have plan of changing its trackpad but it costs expensive for me so I have to save money first.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy new Pearl 9100 keeps freezing and then restarting on itself. It's super annoying because this happens about every hour. When it restarts the entire trackpad won't work, even the button. The only way I've been able to get it to work again is to restart it until it does! It usually takes about 7 restarts until the entire trackpad will work, then it restarts again.

On Wednesday this week, it was pouring with rain and my jeans got soaked right through and the BB 9105 was in front jean pocket. Later that day, the select function of the trackpad (ie pressing down to select something) stopped working. I assumed it was water damage as devices these days are sensitive to anything. The timing of it all made sense. I waited until Saturday (today) and there was no change.I am a student, so buying an old replacement phone wasnt an option, I need that phone so I went to a high street phone repair shop who put a new trackpad in I think, or tightened it up (I dont know exactly). I thought this would be the end of my problems. This cost £25 to get fixed. Bottom line is, it was fixed, the trackpad worked perfectly. I asked the guy at the shop what was wrong with it, he didnt know, so I asked if he thought it was water damage and he said he found no sign of it but said it can be difficult to see. So, about 3 hours ago I upgraded to the V6 of the software. As of 15 minutes ago, the same problem has started with the trackpad. The shop is closed tomorrow where I got the phone fixed and from Mon-Fri I work rubbish hours for my summer job (I get up at 6am and am home at 7pm) meaning I can't visit the shop nor can I get anyone else I know to until next Saturday. I can barely afford to pay another £25 for the problem to get re-fixed and am guessing the warranty has been invalidated because of it being tampered with to get fixed.I just don't know what to do next, I've tried posting on other forms with BB sections but have had no responses yet.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry curve 9330. I got it a month ago and i had the same problem the second day i got it but it worked again. The trackpad is working fine but the keyboard isnt. I tried taking of the battery several times i took it off for the whole night and it still doesnt work. I finally called my phone company and they said they would send me a new one but if they find out i damaged it i have to pay $350. I know i havent done anything but what if they tell me i had and i have to pay for that.

Sometimes it's responsive, sometimes it's not. Also somtimes when I'm scrolling, it will just stop randomly. Annyone else having issues using their Torch trackpad scrolling vertically? View 6 Replies View RelatedAlright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?
I went to go on my phone and the scrollpad wouldn't work, so I took it to the shop and they said update the OS to the latest, so I did, and now it only works if I REALLY lightly touch it and only then it works a tiny bit for abit a second, but it's clicking fine!

So about a week ago, my trackpad stopped working, to get it to scroll I had to hold a piece of clothing such as my shirt between the trackpad and my thumb. It would go between working and not working without the article of clothing for a few days but now it only works if I have something between my thumb and the trackpad. Not sure what to do, I got it 9 months ago and its in really good condition.
